Hi
In the process of having a Sierra XR6, Cortina XR6 and Escort MK2 1600 sport restored back in South Africa and then importing them. I sort of know i am doing the right thing but my only real concern would be obtaining spares for them when needed. The 2 XR6's will have the Essex V6 motor while the escort the Kent motor. Sierras are so scarse here its unreal. And the coupe escort as well. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk |

Sierras were never imported by Ford OZ for general sale. Any here are either private or classic vehicle business imports. Spares would be an issue imho.
Kent motor spares are readily available, Essex V6 less so, but there are a number of specialists for old pommie Ford bits (e.g Yesterford in Melb - very helpful). |
