Default au oil cap question

would someone be able to do me a favour and measure the diameter of the bottom of an au 6cylinder oil cap? (the screw part)

also can anyone confirm if the screw part on au oil caps is a smaller diameter than e-series? or are they the same?

Surely someone has an AU and an e-series in the driveway to swap caps around on. maybe the cruise on the weekend will answer the Q for sure

ok i'm guessing au oil caps are exactly the same... tried my dad's ba oil cap today and it fits! it actually looks better too... more slimline than the e-series caps

Neb, I just measured my AUII oil cap with calipers from tip to tip on the threads on each side of the cap & its exactly 35mm. Hope the one you purchased is the same.
