hi all, i got a BA XR8 there is a tapping noise coming from engine it sounds like a roller rocker , but the problem is some times when you start it up the noise some times is there for a coulpe of minutes some times longer & some times the tapping noise will go away within a few seconds (when the oil is pumped the engine). i was wondering has any body got any ideas want it could be or had the same problem ,thanks steve

sounds to me like the timing chain tension common problem with boss motor but it normally goes away whith in a couple of seconds.
