The bit where you say "it might be a matter of the kid eating something and it giving him autism" The changes in brain development which lead to autism happen "in utero", in the second trimester. There is a strong genetic link with autism, my family was part of a research project in the '90s to identify the genes involved.
Descriptions of autistic behaviours have been found in historical documents dated long before vaccines. In biblical times it was thought to be evidence of demon possession and some church leaders thought it best if such people were quietly strangled.

So which countries are COVID-19 free? Not a single case reported.

As of August 27 2020, only 12 countries have not confirmed any cases of COVID-19. Many of these countries are in our own neighbourhood.

1. NORTH KOREA, ASIA (POPULATION: 25,778,816)
2. TURKMENISTAN, ASIA (POPULATION: 6,031,200)
3. THE SOLOMON ISLANDS, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 686,884)
4. VANUATU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 307,145)
5. SAMOA, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 198,413)
6. KIRIBATI, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 119,451)
7. FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 115,030)
8. TONGA, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 105,695)
9. THE MARSHALL ISLANDS, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 59,190)
10. PALAU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 18,094)
11. TUVALU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 11,793)
12. NAURU, OCEANIA (POPULATION: 10,823)

Except for North Korea, who's reporting is suspect, many of our neighbouring countries are reporting they are COVID free.

126 new cases for Australia and 11 deaths sees the CMR rise to 2.291% while active drop to 4,232. NSW recorded 13 cases, Queensland recorded 3 cases and WA 2 cases with the balance in Victoria.

12 new cases and no deaths for NZ so CMR is 1.284% and active cases rise to 131.

The UK had 1,006 new cases and as we know they are now not counting their mortalities by the WHO guidelines we are going to ignore those figures.

Just over 46k new cases in the USA yesterday and 1,143 deaths sees CMR drop to 3.056% and active cases drop to 41.6% with the raw numbers rising again. Note that the USA is actually minus one day due to time differences.

Other notable points:
France recorded it's worst day since 16th April (134 days);
The USA completes 80M, India 39M and Australia 6M tests;

Czechia (413), Palestine (574), Ukraine (2,438), Indonesia (3,003) and Argentina (11,7171) all recorded new daily highs; those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive day.

Other Stats:

24 (11.3%) of the 213 countries with at least one case have had no deaths. Conversely 7 countries have a CMR over 10% led by Italy with 13.365% although Yemen is actually at 28.15% but they have done almost zero testing so the numbers are obviously skewed.

14 (6.6%) of the 213 countries have no active cases currently while 33 (15.5%) still have more than 50% of their cases active.

23 (10.8%) of those countries have less than 10 cases per 100k of population while 121 (56.8%) have more than 100 cases / 100k and 55 (25.8%) have more than 500 cases / 100k led by Qatar (4,102), Bahrain (2,982), Chile (2,123), Panama (2,085), Kuwait (1,957), Peru (1,886) and the USA (1,839).

97 (45.5) countries have less than 2 deaths per 100k of population, (Australia is not one of them at 2.286) while 57 (26.8%) countries have greater than 10 deaths per 100k and 31 (14.6%) have more than 20 deaths per 100k led by Peru (85.7), Belgium (85.2), Spain (62.0), UK (61.1), USA (58.1), Italy (58.7), Chile (58.2) and Brazil (56.2).

56 (26.3%) of countries have tested greater than 10% of their population with a couple over 100% while there are 40 (18.8%) countries that have tested less than 5% including 23 (10.8%) that have tested less than 1%.

nearly getting to 1 million deaths worldwide. 831,827 according to google.

To put this into perspective:

according to this pretty pdf: https://www.un.org/en/development/de...ataBooklet.pdf

There were 58,394,000 deaths in 2019. Obviously since Covid-19 wasn't considered around in 2019 that should give you an idea how bad so-far this thing is.

167 deaths in Australia in 2019.

I wonder what the entire world deaths + covid-19 deaths have been so far for this year. I mean we are almost 9 months into 2020.

99 new cases for Australia and 17 deaths sees the CMR rise to 2.349% while active drop to 4,091. NSW recorded 14 cases, Queensland recorded 4 cases with the balance in Victoria which was back down in double digits for the first time since July 5th. The Victorian weekly total of 941 cases is 41% lower than last week although the 115 deaths is 9 more than last week.

13 new cases and 1 death for NZ so CMR is 1.332% and active cases rise to 137.

Honduras (1,141), Costa Rica (1,214), Ukraine (2,481), Indonesia (3,308) and India (78,472) all recorded new daily highs; those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive day.

Like India, Russia presents an interesting case study if the reported numbers are accurate.

They have tested ~30% of the adult population (a bit less than us) which is well ahead of the 4% in India but their CMR is fairly similar to that of India at 1.728% and better than our 2.349%. Where they differ alarmingly, to the point where you'd have to question the data, is in cases and deaths per 100k of population.

Russia has 842 cases / 100k adults where India has 351 / 100k and Australia has 141 / 100k. You'd expect Russia to be higher than India given the higher test percentages so the more relevant data is that for deaths per 100k adults as that shouldn't be impacted by testing volumes. Here we see that Australia is at 3.33, India 6.32 and Russia 14.55.

Even when we count them based on total population, Australia is 2.28, India 4.54 and Russia 11.59 per 100k. To put that in perspective against other countries; Argentina is 17.98, Canada 24.13, Iran 25.29, Bangladesh 25.34, Ireland 35.98, Colombia 36.29, Ecuador 36.86, France 46.87, Mexico 48.54, USA 56.10, Brazil 56.25, Sweden 57.64, Chile 58.23, Italy 58.66, UK 61.11, Spain 62.05, Belgium 85.28 and Peru 85.76.

At the other end of the scale Singapore is 0.46, New Zealand 0.56, Japan 0.97, Hong Kong 1.12, Lebanon 2.17, Greece 2.48, Indonesia 2.62 and Palestine 2.84.

I totally agree.

For the first time in history every Government on Earth got together with every Doctor and every business leader in the world to start a practical joke.

Now they're all sitting about chuckling at the millions that are out of work, all the grounded planes and all the involved countries budgets shot to pieces.

Gimmie a break!

Yeh man, didn't you know...

China created a fake virus, so that Bill Gates, Fauci, big western pharmas, and hospitals can get rich, in the meantime also working with western governments to apply restrictions to deliberately ruin their economy, all so they can rule the world. Have I missed anything?

Can you somehow work into your sentence the words, nazis, socialism and communism. It doesn't have to make any sense but I think it will round off the ridiculous theories nicely. Thanks.

Well they have hoodwinked a lot of the public into thinking that the world is not indeed flat.

How much more evidence do youse need?

To keep on topic, there is some interesting discussion about Covid (or the lack of) on the DeepInsideTheRabbitHole.com (https://stoplookthink.com/)

Keeping it short due to topic but flat earth and the moon discussion is interesting, do you have a Thread on that ? not sure what the title would be

Oh dear. AMA, Nurses Union, Ambos have all come out in support of a 12 month extension. But its looking like a 6 month extension will pass.

in what way is it a con? it is a real virus, with real people dying from it. are governments over reacting? well, its easy to criticise and point fingers from the cheap seats. i wouldn't want to be the one making the decisions in many instances.

Yep, true. I don't know anybody who has been sick, yet alone died from this "COVID crap". So it all has to be one big con. Like the many 'intelligent' people have been saying all along.

And here we have the 'intelligent' people I was referring to.

They can hardly read and write English, most come from a non-English speaking background, probably never finished high school, got peanuts for a brain, and here they're trying to tell everyone to "wake up!".

These people are the perfect subjects for the COVID conspiracy theorists to do their dirty work for them. Stupid, easily gullible morons.

They are not.

The Prime Minister is questioning is questioning the Vic Governments (and others ) handling, and if questioned properley you are not branded.

People like those protesting and saying things like Covid is caused by 5g cell towers or that it doesn't even exist are the questioners being branded.

Not quite. A polynomial trend-line is a statistical model that is used when data fluctuates, particularly across a large data set. The order is simply determined by the number of times the data fluctuates.
