Default Will towing regularly effect tune

I have an au v8 manual ute .Since my landcruuiser gearbox broke about 3 months ago i have been towing the work trailer with the ute. Now i have noticed that when towing it pulls strongly from 800rpm or so, but when not towing it seems to splutter any where under 2000rpm when given too much throttle.I'm just wondering if the computer has learnt the load of the trailer ?

Yeah I was using my Falcon to tow a 13ft cage trailer, and when the trailer was disconnected the car felt lethargic and unwilling to respond. It also used excessive amounts of fuel for another 2 tanks after I had finnished towing. Only got about 280kms out of the first and 300kms out of the second.

I reset the ECU and after 20 minutes of driving around and letting it re-learn, it was back to normal.

I tow regularly and have done so with EFI Fords for the last 15 or so years.
The ECU changes parameters slightly when towing, however it also reverts back to normal when not towing.
It's nothing to worry about and does not need a ECU reset.
