Thanks everyone, it will be great to see you all. It has been forever!!

For those of you that are coming on Friday night, I will book a table somewhere for dinner.

The Typhoon has gone and the XR is resting up in the shed waiting for some love, but I will have my T Bucket there too.

I believe they may have organised the vintage car club to attend and there will be other randoms that belong to families at the school.

There is a committee meeting on the 24th of July, so I'm hoping to have more information regarding area and start times.

Really appreciate this guys.

Kaz

Hi again all,

Well at the meeting last week, somehow I managed to become the "convenor" of the "show n shine" LOL.. Not quite sure how that happened.

So I have put feelers out now to other clubs around the riverina. Mini, VW, Monaro, riv ford, so hopefully I will get a few bites. There will be a few randoms as a few families in the school have cars that will also be there.

Fete time is 2-6pm with a fireworks display scheduled for about 6.20. (we are then travelling to CBR after the fireworks too) There is going to be lots of activites for adults and children. Stalls, entertainment, those giant plastic balls in a pool, a go cart track, face painting, food, photography portraits, a photo booth and even a confined spaces truck. There is more, but I will stop there.

Depending on total numbers, I was thinking 12-12.30 set up. Brent said 1, but he's a boy, and he will be at soccer with Jack anyway.

They have allocated me the bus bay, which is a huge tarred area with it's own driveway. So it will make for great access.

Even though it is a later start than I expected, it would still be great if you wanted to come on Friday night for a catch up.

I think that is about where I am at the moment. I look forward to seeing you all and will be in touch again in the coming weeks.

It will be held at Wagga Wagga Christian College, 401 Kooringal Road, and my contact number is 0419 364 328 if you want to contact me at all.

Have a great day!! Kaz

Me again,

Looking like a 1pm set up since it is really quite small. I've had a few clubs pull out. Yay.. It will not take much time at all.

Looking forward to seeing you all. We unfortunately won't be able to stay and have dinner with you guys as we have to go to Canberra directly after the fireworks at the fete on Sat night. But depending on where you want to go for dinner, I have a few vouchers for 2 for 1 meals at the Tolland Hotel if you are at all interested in those.

Talk soon. Kaz

Chris H - travel time to Wagga is 2:36hrs so if we depart Mac's at Gold Creek at 9:30am we will be in Wagga by noon to book into Motel - quick car clean and at venue by 1pm. I suggest we depart event around 5pm to allow those travelling back to CBR an easy drive and the rest of us can go to Motel secure cars and head for dinner around 6 to 6:30pm - comments please

What Hotel are you staying at Bill?

You'll miss the Fireworks spectacular if you leave at 5. LOL

I have done a check of the 2 for 1 vouchers I have for the Tolland Hotel, and currently I have 5, with a grocery shop this weekend, I will get at least another 1 if not 2 more. I will have them at the fete with me, should you decide that you would like to use them.

I thought we had decided to travel the long way. As this is the case, we probably should meet at Macca's at Gold Creek at 8.15 am for an 8.30 am departure, an hour earlier than Bill suggested.

That should give us plenty of time, maybe with some time to spare. It should take about 3hrs 15min.

Don't panic of arrival time at school, between 1 and 1.30 is fine. We can get you guys set up and then you can help me with the rest. LOL.. I'm still deciding if I am going to go and watch Jack play his last game of soccer for the year. I probably will, it will finish by just after 12.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you all.

If you didn't want the 2 for 1 meal deal at the Tolland, it is about 10 minutes from where you are staying, there are some great food places and pubs in the area you are staying. You are staying right in town, so plenty of places to walk to. The Vic is good, The union is good to name just a couple.

See you in a couple of days!!

See you all tomorrow.

Entrance to the site is no longer at the bus bay. I imagine you will be heading up Kooringal road and the school will be on your left, drive past the school and there is a gate before you get to the town and country childcare. There should be someone, (brent or me) on that gate directing the cars down to the oval. I believe the logistics of that is being worked out today. The rides guy wrecked our previous plans to have it in the bus bay.

My number is 0419 364 328, call if you need to know anything. the address again is 401 Kooringal Road.

Safe travels..
