Default Query: Manual to Auto Climate Control

I have a question directed to someone at ASL.

Are you able to convert a vehicle with Manual Climate Control (BEM/L) to Auto Climate Control?

I'm aware it's quite a task, with the need to add Temp sensor in the mirror, Sunload/Twilight Sensor on the dash, the Split Airbox Actuator shafts and drivers side actuator/harness and the need to upgrade to the ICC and BEM and retrain the ECU.

If any of this is possible, can it be done retaining the existing Screen and CD into an empty ICC, or is it more economical to trade up an entire ICC/BEM?

Hi

If you manage to do all the upgrades in the engine area and behind the dash yourself, we would have no problem supplying you with the correct Icc unit. that would be much more economical.

Thanks

From our side, we can only supply the dual air/con high series complete icc unit, we are not keen to modify anything else.
