Default Broken Headlight Retainer Clip

The metal wire clip that holds in the low beam bulb in my right hand headlight is broken and so the beam is now all over the place as the bulb is no longer secure. Any idea how I go about fixing this?

Can I replace the clip itself and also is it possible for me to remove the headlight assembly (not XR style) easily without removing the bumper?

In the meantime, just secure it using a cable tie till you get a new one.

How would I go about removing the headlight assembly so I can get a good angle and do it outside the car?

Also what would I search for on ebay? I tried searching for Ford BA Headlight retainer clips and got no good results

My clip came adrift (my fault). My bulb is held in place with a few blobs of silastic Still easy to remove without too much force. Replacement of the clip will have to wait until I get around to removing or replacing the headlight.

yea I managed to pull a clip off a wrecked ba falcon at my local junkyard. Now it's just a case of actually swapping the clip and it sounds like the headlisght assembly is going to be a ***** to remove
