Loving our new car.

When we took delivery of it the SD card for satnav
was on back order. Picked up the SD card this friday when I had to take the car down because the auto wipers and headlights were not working. They said they would look at it at the first service.

Thought I'd have a squiz myself. So I took off the cover just behind the rear view mirror where the rainsensor and light sensors are and found the three wire connector was not fully locked in. Clipped it in and all fine now.

Car was a demo that a dealer had done up so I assume it's standard Ford issue.

Dressed up the focus this weekend.
Ended up with an SSV rear wing, king springs and stripes.

Matches the GT... lol

The SSV rear wings looks really good in Black too. Kinda RS like.

Why didn't I think of that when I got mine?

Got a couple of action shots after a track day at Marulan with some of the Xr5 boys - pretty happy with how she handled, especially once the track dried up!

she went ok considering its stock suspension with only the sway bar and my tyres are near the end of their life.. I was struggling massively for traction. We were split into classes - I was in beginners. Kept a couple of 5's behind me at some points, but the straight (very short straight) I was losing about 20-30kph!

great fun though - as I mentioned my tyres are nearly dead, so it was good fun just nailing it not caring how much rubber I wore!

I got 2 sets at once for myself and a mate to cut the shipping cost down, so doing that its was 209au each for the springs and about 50each for shipping. so not sure how much 1 set is by itself. i also got the front strut so that will be coming later because i had to pay an extra 20 or so for shipping that

Advanti. Not a hell of a lot to fit the focus in 18x8 but I'm very happy with these after the first set we went with.

We had the below wheels on but made the car handle like crap. Car felt 2nd hand as soon as they were fitted.
Actually this is the 2nd set we had. 1st were 18x7.5 (shocking handling) & these are 18x8 (better) but the off set was no where near standard & both sets had to be machined to fit. Along with poor quality finish the wheel manufacturer gave us a full refund.
Phone photo.
