Default Titanium grey touch up paint.

Gday,
Does anyone know of the best/closest colour match to the titanium grey on the current model focus?
Went to my local Ford dealer who told me Ford dont get any with the cars as they come from overseas and they dont make any to match over here.
So, I have a few carpark dents/scrapes to touch up. I need a touch-up brush, not a tin of spray. besides getting a tin of colour custom made, what have others been using?

Custom made is your best and only bet. Imports are VERY VERY expensive to import paint for due to dangerous goods (highly flammable) rating on paint. Easier and cheaper to make it here. A tin should cost no more than $10-$15 to last the life of the car.

Dealer either has a paintshop (Bayfords?) or went to a local paint shop.

if your in QLD Contact METRO FORD spare parts, they have their own paint division and do touch up paint which most of the BRISBANE Ford dealers can get their hands on.

Do you just give them the paint colour code from the ID plates to mix up the paint?

can be done with the paint code or just the name of the colour from the manufacturer i.e you can walk in and say "i want titanium grey for a 2006 ford focus", or you can give usthe paint code and model.

You have to sand the area your going to paint right back.
Your going to need a few other items to make this work as well.
