Or why not get a Capri (Essex) V6 and turn it into a Savage?

well ive decided against the holden v6 idea, bit too expensive for me. talked to regency and they didnt seem too fond of the idea, but they explained if i went down the jap 4 cylinder road, my life would be much easier with regards to registering it. i was thinking either sr20 or ca18.but im a bit hesitant as i dont know much about them. if anybody has done this conversion to either an escort or cortina i would be very interested in what they have to say. i am mainly concerned about the managment side of the conversion such as fuel supply and ignition, they are my main concerns. would i be able to get away with using the standard ecu or would i have to go after market? any help would be much appriciated

SR20 with HR30 or R31 Skyline LSD. or Pintara with a 4.1:1 LSD

yeah there is one in adelaide that is supercharged, but to get engineered haveto chassis strengthening, and i just dont haqve the money to do that so, ive found that it is pretty easy to go the jap route, well easier lol, plus cheaper
