I'm glad I have a job too. I still think it's stupid we have to use individual work cars then when we arrive at the work location we get out of our separate cars and sit 2 metres apart for 8+ hours in an enclosed space. I'm sure we wouldn't have enough work cars for everyone so I guess we will start hitting up car rental agencies to get some more cars.
Keeps the highway patrol happy though and that's all that matters. Screw common sense based on individual circumstances.

Not at all, to the contrary in fact. 2nd day of our 'Easter Heatwave' and the beaches are open.

I'm glad I don't live in a Police State like you folk in NSW, Pigtoria, ACT and Tasmania.

Might go wash my car this afternoon without the fear of a $1652 fine.

Both 'with CV-19 and from CV-19' are treated the same, and added to the statistics.

Dr Fauci looks extremely uncomfortable during the interviews, no wonder, he's being played now, the Administration is on to him. It was only a matter of time given his allegiance to Bill Gates and the WHO, hence his refusal to endorse a $20 treatment for CV-19 using hydroxychloroquine and Z-Pac, but rather push for a multi billion dollar vaccine which wont work.

Old mate kebab runner and the car washing blokes would have had the worst attitudes and the covid fine would have been a nice little fu on top of whatever else they got. I haven’t heard of anyone yet who complies and had a reasonable excuse getting fined. It’s always the knobs.

Previous generations went to war and there was an actual depression...reckon we can all stay home for a bit and chill the hell out.

So many times we wish to be home more, we are now and all of a sudden our liberties are being taken away? Christ makes we want to hear from the Greens again just to change the topic.

Yeah the old commo unions like the BLF and AMWU wanted 38 hr weeks to supposedly let their members get home earlier. We all know it really was so overtime kicked in earlier. Now they would be right cause some of them can’t go to work at all, stay home on $1500 fortnight, which really is still more than most of them are worth

I was watching a 2016 Australian film last night called 'Cooped Up'. Pretty damn close to what is happening currently where the lead character has to self isolate for 21 days after being infected with "Respiratory Coronavirus". A comedy worth watching, even just for the uncanny similarities.

The movie is available to rent ($5.99) or buy ($9.99) from the link below.

https://vimeo.com/ondemand/coopedup

So an Aussie movie predicted the 'Coronavirus' back in 2016. Produced by 'China Shop Productions'.

Why? Just because I don't work in what has been defined as an essential service why should I be a prisoner in my house? I walked to the shops this morning as that is allowed. And I think I need some toothpicks so I will walk to the shops again this afternoon.

Coles Supermarket

Last week, the Coles shopping nazi proceeded to scold me in the correct way of unpacking a shopping trolley.

This week, I tried to go through the self serve section, but I can't take a trolley through this area anymore, so I reversed and went to the nearest checkout chick, she's allowed to scan the products and then I have to pack my own bags. Except to pack my bags I'm standing within 1-2 feet of her because she has a tiny bit of bench space available next to the EFTPOS machine.

People are dieing from corona in nursing homes yet arnt being recorded on official tallies.
It only people who end up in hospital that are recorded.
UK, Spain, Italy, France, US have all been doing this.

So I think you'll find the figures are way higher than reported.

Having said that...

Statistically we are doing bloody amazingly well compared to the rest of the world.

If it wasn't for the cruise ships f*%k up we would have only had perhaps half the numbers we have now.

Well look. Stay home unless you have to go out.

I go house crazy so each day I do a 1.5hr walk at 10am and another at around 3pm.

Other than shopping or travel to my second job I'm not going anywhere.

I haven't seen my elderly parents in a month and they haven't seen their grand kids. Not fair on all but would be very unfair if someone gets the other sick.

There are some that don't like being told what to do and go out of their way to stir the pot. It doesn't help anyone and can result in them or others getting sick as well as a large fine.

I don't like it as much as the next person, trust me the 'stay at home' rules mean I'm out of my main job of around $65k pa so it hurts. First time I have had to ever ask for a mortgage deferral, and handouts from the government.

But, it is a small sacrifice to make and it won't last forever.

And we are doing much better than most so it's obviously working.

And how do you know it's not natural attrition or a fatality that was bound to happen if they caught a common cold, or gastro, or pneumonia? It's as if no one would have died during this same period if CV19 didn't exist. You're forgetting the 'prerequisites' for CV19 to be fatal - 3 co-morbidities and and age of at least 80.

An estimated 45,000 Australians have died since 1 January 2020. How many of those from CV19?

It’s largely true though. Most of the deaths are over 80 or with existing issues. Only a small fraction outside those 2 factors.

The chances of passing away from corona virus is no worse than the seasonal deaths from rhinovirus.

https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/cold...flu-statistics

3,000 people die per year because of influenza but we don't go DEFCON 1 because of it.

If we put in the same measure for influenza we could cut that death toll from 1,000s to 100s.
