I did the same building my Lamborghini. Turned out that I built the front differential reversed. I don’t have the defender, but I would think you may have done the same thing. Worst part is pulling technic apart. So much easier to put it together.

Yep, the Defender drive train locking up is very common problem on other forums. Carefully check the orientation of the diffs.

wasn't the dif, it was the little loop retainer piece behind it, i'd put it in the wrong way. I know this as i disassembled the whole thing lol

This Land Rover was the worst purchase i've ever made. After waiting for a replacement bag i never received, for 5 weeks, i finally got to the end of stage two. Start up stage three just now, and it's missing at least one, probably two or three more bags. ****ed off to the max.

oh it's coming along great, and the functionality is fantastic - i just can't believe how pathetic their quality control is, to me missing so many bags but still approved to fly out for sale.

that's easy as your using the same provider most of us are using ... postimage. click on the share button/icon that shows up when the mouse 'hovers' over the pic. this will then give you a list of 'links'. copy the one from "Hotlink for forums:" & paste that where ever you want that pic. no need to add anything to it.

and the size is fine

Couple of the several more-recent builds i've done while i wait for all of section three of the Defender to be sent to me from Denmark lol. The Fatboy was a really enjoyable build, and looks fantastic. It's one of the least Lego-ish looking builds i've seen, very smooth.

The little Rubicon was ok, but a bit already fell off as pictured - more fixings.

Just noticed the RSR in the back ground, for a race car they sit way too high. There is a mod to lower it, but its easier to do while building, not once complete, i didnt want the faff off pulling it apart. Had to pull enough apart to pull the springs out.
But i just pulled the springs out Looks way better imo, well more like a race car

Seems some have been enjoying Lego during office hours..............

"Team-building exercises at NBN headquarters have seen thousands of dollars spent on executive staff attending Lego workshops.

But the recent team-building exercises have left some Aussies scratching their heads and wondering how playing Lego could be good for their business – particularly those who have had unresolved issues with their own NBN connections."

Another work of art by mcd technic
42128 with a colour change and a nose job. Looks much better twin steer and the scania cab. Not that the lego kit was a bad build though, this just takes it up a few notches.

Wish lego would bring out kits like this. As good as the tow truck kit is, these are way better. But i guess you cant please everyone.

Gonna build some more of the D11 tonight, been a while since ive built any.

Finished off the D11 last night, no dirt to get a pic but yeah.
She a big beast.

Next to the Liebherr which also a good size, the blade on the D11 is massive.

If she's a big beast, you need to mow your lawn :P And so do i.

I bought the ugly GT500 today, see how that turns out. Also picked up the Vader helmet.
