Default Pulling the back seats out?

Sorry for another question on what is general knowledge for everyone here, it's just this is my first car and I want to learn my way around it.

Anyway, I managed to get the FPV cover for the back seats that I have been after for ages and I want to put it on. But I have to pull the seats out, so the question; how do I get them out?

Thanks again,
-RTSW.

Do you mean pull the seats out as in remove them from the car? Or do you mean putting the backrests down?

Removal completely i'm guessing is the only way to get them around and secure, or that's what the 'instructions' say.

You shouldnt have to pull the whole seat out, just pull the backs forward, there's a little pull tab in the sides of each part.

Yeah, don't think I've ever had to remove seats to fit seat covers!

On my AU I had to undo a nut holding the little side bit (between the door and the seat). Once you pull this away a little bit you should have enough room to pass the ties for the seat cover through if this is what you are having trouble with.

The bottom half of the back seats just lift up and out and snap back in. Great source of spare change if you haven't done this for a number of years! If you have kids, all sorts of wonders await you...

Well it's all done, covers are on and after a thorough inspection under my seats here is the list of objects I recovered:
-1 phillips head screwdriver

That is all. :(
