Yes, but this loss will be a good lesson for them. Bring back down to earth for a little while. Go the eagles though!

There aren't enough Hawks supporters on here....we need all the support we can get at the moment.

Oh dear Friday night's game was a joke. As was the umpire who looked like Mr Sheen.

I would be willing to bet there will be another all interstate grand final at the end, Would be hilarious if the Eagles/Dockers were in it (would the draw allow this?), I would hate to see the airlines try to cope with the amount of people trying to get there from WA (75,000 club members in total), I dont know any members who would consider not going (granted I only know about 20 members of either club though).

I'm a Geelong man.

Been following since ~1991 when i was in Grade 1.

So I've seen us lose 1992, 1994 and 1995. Also saw us lose the 1997 Ansett Cup, the 2004 ****-bucket (Wizard Cup) and then finally win SOMETHING..the 2006 NAB Cup. But then I saw the team once again pull their lacy knickers from their handbags, put them on, **** in them due to the fear of expectation then hide from it.

I've seen many great players though during that time. Ablett, Bairstow, Couch, Hocking, Riccardi (we let him down this year!), John Barnes, Stoneham, Brownless, Bews and Garry Hocking. Wish Steve was better. His speciality was dropping marks.
Tim McGrath was also a pretty good player on his day.

We haven't got as much now. Chapman and Ablett are the only two who have shown bravery consistently. Steve Johnson is inconsistent, Ottens kicks like a sprinkler, King can't run or mark, nor retire on time!
Shannon Byrnes needs to learn to kick the ball earlier instead of ****farting down the wing and handballing, resulting in a clanger.

Riccardi was an ace kick. We are going to miss him.

Tom Lonergan. He should retire. He's lost a kidney in his 7th match. He could have died ffs. Lost 3 litres of blood (body normally has about 5), lost a kidney and in an induced coma, but wants to play on.

I hope he doesn't lose his other kidney.

The way its going its looking like its gonna happen. If they dont face each other in the first week, they should both go straight through to the 3rd week of the finals.

Hmm....Victoria is safer, has better water and has been voted "Most Liveable City in the world" often recently.

So we may be dirty mexicans, but our rape count is lower than yours...

And the Swans originated from Melbourne...refusing to acknowledge that means you are ignoring champions like Peter Bedford, Bob Skilton, Bob Pratt, Roy Cazaly (not a great player, but famous) and many others.

So roll in that. :P

This year, I do not want to see Collingwood, St Kilda or Sydney in the flag.

Collingwood have won 14 premierships. They can wait.
St Kilda are the new "cosmopolitan" team with a new found bandwagon that has developed given their growing success. However, the old supporters are REAL fans. They wade through the river of borrie to reach the top.
Sydney played the most slow, boring football I have ever seen in the Grand Final last year. It was the worst grand final ever. It was a 4 point margin, but the game sucked.

2002 was far better.

1989 better yet.
