well thats what im doing anyway, if others are with me then all good
That's the best way ... allows time to stretch legs a bit ... photos ... snack/toilet break ... fuel up if needed. Is better to leave Sydney/M5 earlier as it means less traffic on the freeway on a Saturday morning.

I'd rather be at Yass a little earlier. Definitely a 06:30 departure from The Crossroads ... no later.

I'll have the Garmin Streetpilot 2610 in the ute .... so I can put all the waypoints in and shouldn't have issues finding the way .... I can give ETA times to all the waypoints mid-journey and distances, etc.

As long as I have the correct addresses ... it isn't an issue ... I know I have looked up the motel and it found it easily and gave directions straight to it.

I'll set it all up on the morning of the cruise .... i just need to get a 2-way radio for the cruise down yet .. if I get a chance to get one.

Just an update to the list. AU3 Chaser has dropped out. Down to 7 cars. Lets try to keep these 7 cars if can. Before I cancel the room, I want to make sure that there will be no other cancellations. I think I'm beginning to wear out my welcome with the hotel : Please, if you considering cancelling, can you make up my mind by Tuesday.

Ok so now its just me leaving now from Canberra, I'll get away early to make sure I'm in Yass before you guys arrive.

Saw a decent Uniden going for about $200 ... UH-013 ... in dash removable face unit ... was on a central coast forum though. I think I'll just bring batteries along ... found Bec's parents have a set of 2-ways today ... and for an old set of 2-ways ... they are much clearer than some of the new ones I have heard. I think they were Digitor (of all brands).

Bucky you guys should be coming down King Way which is the off ramp on the South Eastern Fwy, it's before the tunnel just after the Docklands turn off, then you're 2 minutes away, I'm thinking of tying some BLUE balloons : on each turn you take which is only 3 from that point.

Blue balloons would be a nice touch .... I'll try and get those waypoints in ... and hope that the GPS uses those ones ... if it's going via the freeway though .... I'd say it will use it though.

At the 3rd baloon, turn left, at the Dark blue Baloon take another left, and when you get to the light blue baloon, make a right :

Ok guys, we are down another car. Can I please stress to you, that if anyone else is considering cancelling, please let me know ASAP. Tommorrow morning. I'm down from 12 original bookings to 6 with another possible cancellation. I have made multiple changes with new bookings and cancellations to the accomodation in the past few weeks and I'm sure the hotel is sick of me. So please to make this easier on me, let me know by tommorrow morning. I have decided to go offline now until after Melbourne. I think it's easier for me just to stay away until Saturday. Please guys, I must know tommorrow.

hee hee ... I can understand the last part ...

Family is important though ... I do understand that.
If you can make it, it'd be cool ... if you can't, that is understandable.
We'll still be at the Crossrads till 6:30am :

OK ... everyone ... bring your winter woolies (I'll be right ... I still wear shorts and T-shirt till middle of July) ... it's gonna be a little windy and cool on the trip down ... looks like the rain might be clearing through Goulburn and further south though.

I am still debating whether or not to clean the car before the trip down ... as I know it will get filthy ... I might give it a quick scrub though to get most of the crap off.

Looks like Sunday will be a fine day though ... albeit a little cool and windy though.

Bec will be looking for shops and cafes in the meantime while we are there ... so everyones significant other halves might be wanting to do that same thing.

Typical women .... hee hee
