Very nice and loud car you had there! Some top rwkw figures too! Where did all that smoke come from on the last run you had or was I imagining things? Did something blow? Your car seemed to roll off the dyno fine but.

I'd like to thank KPM for such a great day. The day was very well organised, and everything went pretty smoothly. There were heaps of nice cars there, including an absolutely gorgeous Ego Force 6 with a Plazmaman kit and an XA coupe with a 460 big block that tried to jump of the rollers!

I was happy with the result of 188rwkw from our N/A 6. It would have been nice to get 190 like it did last time, but the fact that it was quite a humid day and the A/C left on was going to guarantee that that wasn't going to happen.

It was also great to put a few faces to some names, and meet a few new poeple as well. I'd like to also thank the lady from the Black Forrest Scout BBQ stand who kept an eye on Toby while he was asleep so I could go inside the workshop and watch our car on the dyno.

she spat the gearbox dipstick out about an inch and dribbled a little oil onto the exhaust ,no harm done, I would have liked to have seen spiro give it another run but I dont think he wanted anymore oil on his rollers .

Congrats on your ute mate, it just keeps getting better and better! Nearly 300 N/A rwkw with nothing but a safety device added (billet gears). ANd it ain't no dyno queen too with a nice 11 sec 1/4!

That Coupe with 342rwkw had a very mildly worked 460 big block in it with a shot of nos (but I'm not sure how much). Perhaps the owner can clarify on it's exact specifications.

Thanks Jac, your NA 6 is a weapon too, let me know when you come down to the next AFF Heathcote meet, you can borrow my slicks and knock a 10th or 2 off your 1/4 time.

Hehe, it's Eamon here, I think I need to change my avatar as everyones always confusing me with Jac. You get the slicks and I'll get Kev to drive it, hehe. I think the poor CVs might go pop with a bit more work and a lot more grip. Anyway, back on topic hehe...

Perth Day was awesome, a solid line of cars all round the parking area lining up for the dyno all Day. Thanks to Barry and all his crew for a top day. Cheers to John for setting up and kepping us rabble in (some sort of) line :

Dyno Set up outside, 7 deg at 8am, beautiful clear skies, awesome. I was wrapped with my figure of 243.5rwks on a BA XR8 with exhaust and cold air mod with BMC, cant wait to see what a tune will add :evil3:

Top day all round, nice to meet alot of you blokes, and a special mention the the bloke with the Ford BBQ who fed us snags all day.

A few photo's of the Perth event, I manly got video and i have some good footage of the blown GT-P 319rwks I think, the 460 XD (sounded wild) and a beautiful 6 pack charger. I will put these to DVD and see if someone wants to compile a proper dvd then I will send a copy of my footage,

cheers all

Hi guys, I just got home from packing up at BPT, starving and stuffed. Had an awsome day in WA. 54 cars, and EVERYONE was well behaved. Was great to meet a lot of members. I spent all day asking who's car is this? Whats your username? I think I know every one now.

Let me eat and shower and I will grab a Bourbon and post all 54 cars results

AWSOME DAY THANKS AFF

Thanks sp83 and the batten boys (and their mum) for help organizing the day.

Special mention has to go to BAGT001, who was a late addition to the day and racked up near 280kw on a factory tune!!

Well done Terry. (ya bugger!)

Don't worry, I dropped 6 HP on the same dyno..... and going by my first run, I should have gotten runner up !!!

i think the drop in numbers is due to the differnt setting it gets put on for this kind of aus wide comp i assume its kind of like the scale system they have in tee based subjects at school so they can compare peoples scores more evenly...

its not that there trying to make you return to the shop so they can fix whatever is the problem it seems to be a aus wide standard by the sounds of it for this comp.

AND if anything these figures would be more accurate then usuall because if you are a first time custermer to the tuner whose tunning you car to get the before and after kw reading from your new airbox he may and might not aswelll tweak a few more little things to make his product look like its giving you more extra kw's then originally claimd causing you be over the moon and also making you run to your mates telling them about so and so's new air box or what ever and how much kws its thowing out :|

but then again maybe im wrong

My first reading was just a dyno run. I had no product or service from the dealer. But I understand what you are saying, it is the calibration of the unit.....

Sheldzz, well done mate!

Ben, probably a mistake to flash your car with an untested tune while in the line for the dyno,,, no doubt you would have one this class if you stayed on the factory tune.. spewin huh??

There is always next time.
