OK depending on what Characteristic you selected, you should run your practice laps at around the 40-50 mark. You will still get good feedback, and shouldn't crash so much. 0- Safe=Low Data 100- Risky=High Data=Higher chance of crashing.

Check out the how to guides. They helped me out a fair bit.

Cheers

Darran

Oh yeah!

I can run 99 on the Experiment bar and not crash.
(I find I get less data at 99 and 100 but)

Don't forget, once your settings are 100% spot on, drop the bar back to 0, and get some better pace out of the car. I have even had feedback before at 0! Good old thinker!

Anyone want to join me at Triple 8 in a Private Game?

batracer.com/-cj?&D&8260
The game password is "pass1".
Team Password is morton.
It can only be held for 10 minutes, but I don't see a big rush of people joining at this stage.

Quick update.
I have one round to go (Phillip Island) in game 7305 Public. I have a 100 point lead in the championship. We have a 500 point lead in the teams championship with DJR!
Fingers crossed I can bring this one home!
Hows everyone else going?

Cheers

I am not saying anything yet, because who knows what could happen! :
Am starting to get good now, most of my games, I am in the top 10.
Have started an F1 1986 Game now too. That should get interesting...

Anything sure can! I generally run in the top 3, have won 3 championships but was leading a current V8 series and then DNF'd Sandown & Bathurst and the subsequent 3 races afterward! Taken out by bastards!!!!

Thats the biggest thing that peeves me off. People who get about with their aggression set at 100 then have an accident and take someone else out with them. Then they blame the game. Must be someone stuffing with them! :
They get me all the time. I always set mine quite low, to prevent collisions if I can.

Cheers

Im sitting 3rd in my 1st public Championship, Oran Park qualifying tonight, hoping for some luck as we (Djr) are struggling to match the pace of the leading Holdens (HSVDT how realistic).

But i havn't had bugger all DNF's amd sitting 3rd at the half way point in my 1st season it's nothing to be ashamed of, the only ford infront of me is a guy who has won the series twice before!

If only i could catch that leading holden _2:

That private game that we are playing on here, is quite good... Im coming 3rd in championship, and have had 3 or 4 races where my agression was set too high for the start and have gone from first to last, but lucky pit stop strategies have got me higher up the placings!

It really is quite addictive this game....

i've only just had 1 race so far and my lap times are embarrasing, how can i get better setups anyone?

satria, you usually need to work with oyur team mate to get 100%. If you have a team mate who turns up, you can get 100% or pretty close by the end of R1 warmup most times.

Yes, Read back a few pages, but use the engineer's advice as a great starting point...

Nah, I stopped bothering with them. They usually take forever to start, you end up with a ghost team mate and they don't count to WR.
