The airline says the Sydney-based flight attendant operated five services while potentially infectious on June 25 and 26.

Virgin said the crew member was a close contact of another Sydney case but they did not know that while they were flying.

We got 12 New Zealanders looking at a possible 14 day stint in quarantine when they head home from work, it's always a gamble lately.....

The UK had a higher 17,943 cases yesterday and higher 23 deaths.

A higher 16,036 new cases in the USA yesterday and lower 428 deaths sees CMR at 1.796%.

Darwin now in a 48-hour lockdown.

30 new cases for NSW.

So, did the Gold Standard State get this wrong? Should they have taken a similar approach to Vic and gone into lockdown earlier? Why the reluctance? Are party line politics behind this? If so is this a enough reason to not go into lockown (I ask this in the context of managing covid, I'm not interested in a political debate as it's against the site rules).

Its gone to Perth now. The proportionate response has managed to proportion the burden across the country. Who seriously didn't see this coming from a mile away. Said right from the start, don't gamble, house always wins.

The noticeable increase in number of yellow plates on this side of melb is a little worrying.

To pay the GSS CTs their due, they have linked every case so far except Eddie Munster Zeke at the Campbeltown daycare centre. Problem is that the Delta zekes are 3 days ahead of them, so they had to lock it down to catch up.

Nah....

Working from home, trying to maximise their deductions before the end of FY.

I'm sure the ATO doesn't have a specific ruling on how much one would use to work out their claim

Human psychology. If you can figure it out then you can make a motza. I think it started when we had the first lock down, and one of the ministers said something along the lines of "there is no need to go panic buy essentials, such as toilet rolls etc etc"..so guess what everyone did? At the time I think some overseas countries were reporting shortage of toilet rolls, so it may have been why the minister used it as an example. If in doubt, always blame overseas.
