There's a couple of FG X's for sale on www.carsales.com.au.
The white G6E Turbo looks really nice.

Saw my first FGX in the flesh today. XR6T. Crikey it's a good looking car. The interior obviously feels familiar but the stitching and cut of the seats looks good. I had the FGI so the SYNC, DAB+ and 9 speakers is going to be a formidable upgrade as far as interior goes for me. Salivating for Jan 15 when my white XR8 arrives.

I just don't get how dealers can do that? I know they are a franchise but aren't they representing FORD as an official dealer????

That tan interior would be amazing with something other than the Grey bits and pieces in the other parts.

Is that colour smoke? Looks great, think an XR8 will look great in this colour-tinted windows, red brembos....

Saw an XR6 at Klosters Newcastle today- white- looks good, but I just could not stop thinking that the front bonnet to my eye is slightly anaemic and thin/flat looking when viewed in context with the passenger cabin bubble.

The XR8 with the raised bonnet bump looks much better in context of the passenger cabin bubble- looks far more integrated.

The XR8 definitely does seem to be the looker....

That FGX G6e Turbo in white looks sexy. If I didn't already have my modded FG G6e Turbo I'd be hopping on this for certain. As it is the V8 commodore will be the one to part with for a new FGX xr8 when the time is right. That supercharged 335 (in smoke grey) is a must.

Yeah if I was the joker running the show, I would of broke with tradition and used that lovely XR8 bonnet across the entire range to improve all models aesthetic....................GT rims and a couple of badges are enough points of difference for the XR8.

Ford will never use a bonnet bulge on any other car that dont require it, "if its not functional, than it does'nt need it" & thats the way it should be. this includes scoops & vents too.

pretty sure they were for getting hot air out. like an extraction vent. but my main point being the bulge was there for clearance of the V8, so as good as it looks they wouldnt use it on the 6's.

I thought the Miami fitted under a flat bonnet?

Plenum cover doesn't have much clearance so I don't think it would fit under a flat bonnet.

A bonnet is nothing but a panel, a bulge is nothing but a few styling creases. Plenty of cars with little bulges, rises, ridges on a bonnet no matter what's under there.

Should all bonnets be completely flat and boring unless there is a tall engine under there?

Boring...

No it looks crap whatever you do with it (yes I've seen it in real live inside and outside the car).

Yet the FG V8's got it and it wasn't required.

Keep in mind that pedestrian safety laws require a minimum clearence between engine and bonnet, so technically something may not need the bulge, but legally it does.
