Chucking a little buzzbox around is good for laughs but it wears thin pretty quick when for me a muscle car just feels so right always.

Id love something like the new new aston vantage 8, sporty, agile, luxury and with a V8 under the bonnet. Plus aston is owned by Ford!

Muscle. Being 6'3 and 100kg, girly sports cars are pretty much out of the question. :P

Also a grunty tourer and a fast bike is all good. I read a review of some 440Cu or somesuch that was driven up into the Snowy mountains. The review raved about great handling and great POWER + it would suck the doors of your MaserLamboFerrari. |

There is something about heavy fast muscle cars..
But I think it would become a bit of the same old same old after a while.. The muscle car would be the one to drive and the agile sports car the one to own I think. |

By today's standards an early 70's musclecar is a light weight!!

I'll have some old V8 muscle please....something that makes the ground shake.
From Oz, an XY GT or a fat XA/XB coupe, or from the US, how about a blown big block Dodge Charger/Challenger.. Yeah!

i got sick of filling up my 351 XC coupe once petrol prices hit $1.00, so i started looking for a similar rig on gas. ended up getting a nissan silvia with a couple of mods *cheap*, and man this thing flys. love getting 450 k's out of a tank of optimax too. lucky it's got tinted windows though 'cause i wouldn't be seen dead in the gay look'n thing. doing up an xy ute soon (on gas) so it'll be bye bye mr. nissan. you'd need a pretty hot donk in a heavy muscle car though to outdrag one of these souless japanese speedbots i'm afraid.....

Muscle.... all of it. Built Fairlane tough! No point flying around corners, only finish up takin' out a lycra-clad cyclist. And they can do some damage to a little 75% plastic sports job. If I want agile, I'll ride my 21-speed mountain bike.

Within a year or two my track car will go from a FWD 2+2 1.8 litre with peak torque at 5500rpm and an 8400rpm rev limit to a caged 1200kg 2 seater on slicks and with a half decent suspension and a mild 302 Windsor. I don’t need an injected 450 hp stroker yet, but the chassis and driveline can take it if I feel the need (the need to be broke).
Put me down as handling. I’ve seen too many “quick” cars that turn to junk in the turns. |
