Thats me last night at eastern creek in my 2011 GTP auto. Stock tune. Intercooled by KPM. 12.7 the other 4 runs 12.6 flat 1.9sec 60foot everytime...next to me is a LSA clubbie who couldn't break a 12. Went 13.1 in the video...motor eat a dick.

I ran a 13.1 in my E3 Maloo.. With tune only

Can you tell me the end speed you got and is your motor the 340 kW n/a unit?
Also do you remember the 60 foot time?

No mine is an E3 so was only the 317 factory car. But like I said the car has a walkinshaw tune from new and, my mistake above, a otr cold air induction as well. It makes 297kw at the wheels. Auto and standard bi modal exhaust etc.

I don't have the time slips anymore as it was 2 years ago, at Willowbank in QLD. But I did 3 runs 13.1, 13.2 and worse was a 13.4 from memory. I'm no special driver or anything either. I think the 60ft was around the 2.0 mark? Because I remember wanting to get that better.

I have a friend up here that is a regular there and is a fantastic driver. He bought one of the first gen f hsvs 317 tune and a manual and ran a 12.9. He is the best driver I've seen as I said of hustling that 6 speed manual and he had a ve hsv and vz before that so has plenty of experience with them. I may be able to get his time slip because i think he kept the 12.9 one

Wasn't even a full exhaust. A GTS with similar mods would be in the 11s all day, provided there was traction and a driver to back it up.

Dyno printout may have said 297 rwkw but I guarentee it's more like 250-260

A stock 340 only makes about 230rwkw

I'd give you a go at the lights any time - just to give you a shock! I have cracked heaps of bikes off the lights and they end up zinging past (at way over posted speed limit) to try to prove a point - one guy tried 2 sets of lights in a row but got done both times (to 80) and ended up giving me a thumbs up as he roared off into the distance.

Dyno printout may have said 297 rwkw but I guarentee it's more like 250-260

A stock 340 only makes about 230rwkw

Yeah not sure had an E1 LS2 before the Maloo and it was 230 rwkw stock, with tune, otr and catback exhaust it was 260 and With the cam it was 305rwkw (standard hsv headers). It was tuned by hi torque on the Gold Coast who are fairly well known

The LS3 is the far better engine imo and having had them both at the same time for a while would have to say the numbers seemed about right.

everything that you do on a motorcycle takes lots of skill compared to driving a car.
Most people would have a fav winding road for their Falcon or whatever, but to do it on a bike at a decent pace is a different world all together.
Same as all these acceleration figures, the H2 can crack high 9's stock even an ordinary rider will get mid 10's easily.
No road car is going to keep up with that or 100 other bikes currently on the market.
I've been at the lights on my bike and all sorts of cars want to race you, they will take off flat out and you're just taking it easy but they somehow think they beat you in an imaginary race. I think because they hear the bike revving they assume that you are going for it, not realising that at 6,000rpm you might have another 8,000rpm remaning. Even 600's are into the high 10's stock these days.

OK no problems. Your right, SS"s are 12 sec cars with bugger all mods we all know that. The GTS i was with managed a mid 12 with some good mods.

Not officially timed ,I have had it at trackdays and have hit it hard at times, front straight at broadford under power 3rd gear wheelies and its a short straight but still hitting 200 easy and time to brake before the first corner .I spent the first 4,500 ks in the mountains learning how to ride this bike.Considering I have done 50 plus trackdays and more trackday training and tuition than I can remember 10 at least as well as over 35 years on road bikes I can guarantee you would not leave me behind in a race A because I probably wouldn't bother as I know the outcome.This thing has 3 modes of launch control, 9 modes of traction control, quickshifter which means no clutch needed just hold throttle open and shift electronic steering dampner and a whole lot of other stuff .But hey u just keep on thinking your faster Actual times runs in the states 1/4 mile 8 seconds
