Well had my 1st race last night Had qualified 23rd, in the warm up after my team mate handed me his set-up i was 4th.

Race started and some how me being a dumb *** had accidently started on Green Wet Wheather tyres in a bone dry race, luckily there was a smash and a safter car so i only lost about 6 spots and was right behind them.

Safty car pulled off at the end of lap 8...

Lap 78 i was in 3rd and hunting down 2nd at over .5 of a second a lap, eventually finishing 2 seconds behind him!!!

Tonight running a similar set-up me and my Spanish team mate are hoping for a double podium although 1st is unlikly as the leader is Damn fast!

If it wern't for me starting on wets it could have been 2nd place!

Man im already addicted!

Doesn't take much to become addicted! Trust me.
Watch that agression setting. That can ruin a race, and an entire season!
Unfortunately a lot of the others will have their's thru the roof... So they collide with you! :(

My agression is pretty low set at 60 so to have been passing up to 4 people a lap i was pretty impressed.

Thats the mistake most people make. 60 is not low. 50 is not low. 20 is low!
Just because it starts at 50, doesn't make it low.

DJR are fine with the right people and the right setups. Same with WPS. I have seen them win a championship too.

A new team has been created "Paul Cruickshank Racing".

Just joined too - picked a single car team cause I've only just started playing & I didn't want to stuff things up for a team mate.

As soon as I receive my first lot of feedback, I adjust by 15 either way. It seems a good number. Then I just keep dividing by two from there. I never have a drama. Then my team mate comes in, and finishes the job. By the First race, or even Qually, I have 100%.
I always select "Thinker". Gives me the oppourtunity to run my practice and warmup at 100%, so I get the most feedback, which is one of the most important things in this game, getting the correct setups.
Check the BATracer Forum, there is a good topic on there about getting the most feedback.
I follow the same system.
Alway go thinker and then adjust the bars by 16. (only because it devides easier )

Most times I'm within 2 or 4 of spot on come the end of practise.
Then use the warmup to finish of the last few.

Retirements in V8's can kill your season.
I went head to head with a guy... won 15 races to his 8 but he only DNF'd once
to my 4 and I finished second by less than 100 points. (yes it was a public game and the pride is still hurting!!!)

Well done Darran, of public games, I've won 2, have enough points to win my third in the next day or two and am leading another with 1 round to go...... still could lose that one!

Lucky SOB. :voldar02:

I've come second three times by stuff all.
Won two private Championships, but haven't cracked it for a public win.

I do have a F1 2006 public and V8 Public under different logins.
(when I was hooked I had 15 games running at once.)
Now I have Kool Tools I only use my one login.

Anyone want a team mate in a private game? I am due to finish a championship in 18 hours, and will have a private slot available.
Let me know.
