My RX7, was a fun car to drive and loved to revved... Like a rotor of course.

The Plates now reside on my AU and have people scratching their heads quite a bit LOL

The only car I wish I still had was my HQ kingswood 253 4sp. It was put together from a shell I bought from the wreckers and the drive train and bits from a HJ Sandman Van the commited suicide on a kerb one afternoon after snapping a ball joint. It got as far as being undercoated Dulux primer grey and I liked it so much I just clear coated it and left it that way. It sat on 8" deep dish mags and the first time I saw a HQ race on TV ( from Tasmania where HQ racing originated) I nearly jumped out of my seat with excitement, they sat on the road low, fat and wide just like my Q. It was a beast that I couldn't kill and it handled like it was on rails on the road and was beautifully balanced and predicatable on the dirt...I loved that car and one day I will put another one together.

That is one awesome XC there platimumXR

I don't regret selling a car yet. I wait until i positively HATE a car before i get rid of it, basically when it goes from an asset to just a downright liability do i sell.

That being said, i know i'm gonna miss my AUII when it's gone. And i hope that isn't any time soon.

Thanks, I REALLY wish I could find it again but last report was it had a rear-ender with a 280Z of all things :

I vowed after letting the RS go I would never sell another car...so now I am VERY cautious about what I buy to keep.

For me ,a 1973 CJ Chrysler by Chrysler 360 v8 with all the power accessories,
we bought it in 1979 and drove it for 17 years and to 520.00km. not the best handler, though CM suspension mods solved a lot of the problems, but a very comfortable car for long distance traveling, After 10 years of no problem motoring with an EA 3.9 multi sedan,we now have a 05,TS Territory
the Chrysler's current owner is doing a complete restore of it as they are now very rare. :

Yeah I hear ya. To buy a car it has to be just what i want and need at the time. I don't have a habit of changing much and neither do my cars. So i tend to have them for a while and get pretty attached, and i only sell them once they become not what i need. I've had my AUII for 3 years and I wouldn't be surprised if i have it for another 3.

dad owned a XY sedan, it was clean and straight ive been told.. he paid $1000 for it back in 1986 drove it for a day then took it back to the dealer.. she chewed to much fuel!!

2nd would be the XF Falcon GL.. BEAUTIFUL CAR had approx 140km on it owned for 5 years immaculate both in and out! Dad Gave it to my cuz in 1997 for $4500 and he put the pin stripes on it and new stereo.. kept it for a year then he claims the "engine seized" tried to find her but never did!! Thought i saw it cruising once...
All thats left are pictures and memories of the old girl GOD I HATED BEING YOUNG THEN was 14 :(

Although my current wagon is the best I've had, there are two cars I really did miss:
First car was a 302 4 spd GXL - Red/Black outside with the Black interior (when I sold it was runing a top loader and 9" with the 351 crank & rods ready to install)

Other one was my XD ESP - 250 4 speed and I had it for over 20yrs!

I know the ESP went up in the hills somewhere (sold a couple of years ago now) but I always wonder if the XC is still around (doubt it though it was sold early 80's and it needed some rust repairs then - that was the problem with being in the Navy and having the cars parked in the salt air)
