1982 Datsun Stanza SSS 1993-1998
- Red 5speed manual with dog leg upgraded from 1.6 to 2l, so powerfull it would twist the chassie...er or rusty, clearly the former 1982 Mazda RX7 1998-2000 - Browny colour, 5speed manual, great car, ran advan 032R's on it, happy times, sold to a mate who promplty crashed iton the track, who sold it to a muppet that caught it on fire... still going though. 1991 Subaru Liberty RS Turbo 2000-2006 - red 5speed manual, great car, sub 5sec 0-100, pretty good at the time...LOUD, broke 3 boxes in 6 months, but fun for hill climbs and track days. *From here on also my GF cars that we co owned 1995 Toyota Starlet 3dr - 2010 - white, 5speed manual, had a twin pipe exhaust, hahaha, cheap and could swallow huge things in the boot. 1982 Audi UR Quattro 2006-2009 - helios bluw, 5speed manual with diff locks, my dream car that became a nightmare, off the road for 1.5 years, 2 weeks after got rear ended by a tickford XR8, $3K for a 2nd hand rear bumper 1998 Daiwoo Nubira Wagon GLX 2006 - blue, had gears I think, bought and fliped for a profit, not a bad car...not a good one either 1986 Holden VL Commadore Wagon 2006-2008 - red 3spd auto, had it while Audi was getting fixed...er thats all. 1991 Honda Prelude Si 2009-2010 - white, 4speed auto, got given it! comfortable and easy... 1995 Subaru Impreza WRX 2008-2011 - white 5sp manual, owned for 3 years serviced once, had a grey rear door and roof racks, dropped mtb off roof onto a door, big scratch, didn't care, that sort of car. 2007 For Territory Turbo Ghia 2012- - red 6sp auto. Bought in Brisbane, coupel of days later drove to Tassie via Adelaide. Great car

1971 XY Falcon Wagon 250 Crossflow Auto (Heavy, thirsty, slow)
1978 Escort Ghia 2.0L Manual (my all-time favourite car) 1982 Audi 5+5 GLE 2.2L 5 cyl. Manual (most economical petrol car I've owned) 1986 Alfa Romeo Quattro 1.5L 4x4 Wagon (showed me that you don't need a big motor for performance) 1994 Audi 80 2.6L Manual (comfortable, classy but ultimately boring) 1998 XHII Falcon Outback Ute 4.0L Manual (strong, reliable workhorse) 2005 VW Golf Series V TDI 2.0L DSG (ultra reliable, brilliant DSG gearbox, but stupidly expensive to service) 2008 BFII Falcon RTV Ute 4.0L Auto 3 seater (a bit heavy and lardy, but a great long distance tourer) 2011 WT Fiesta Econetic Diesel (4.5L/100 km a bit sluggish compared to the Golf diesel, but uses 25% less fuel) |

57 Hillman Minx Wagon - bought and sold before I was old enough to legally drive it. Ever driven a 4 speed on the tree?
57 Zephyr - An extremely nice original car, dark green, much loved. 64 Hillman Minx - Very underrated cars these, extremely tough, did quite a bit of off roading in this. 60 VW - used more oil than fuel??? 65 HD Holden Wagon - 161, 3 on the tree, slow as a wet month. 63 Datsun Bluebird Wagon - not many of these around, uncomfortable as hell, but reliable and frugal. 66 VW Type 3 Wagon - surprising good car, very capable all round. 67 HR Holden Wagon - very nice one owner car 74 P76 Executive V8 - my first V8, bought it at just a year old, did a few mods and it went very well. 73 P76 Super V8 - Couldn't sell the above for anything like it was worth so traded this in on it. 72 HQ Holden Ute - couldn't sell this P76 either, was not a good example, so swapped it for this. Only had it for a half hour, sold it to the guy before he finished the roadworthy... 69 HT Holden Wagon - turned out to be OK. 71 XA Falcon 351 V8 - first Ford V8, just a 2V so not much acceleration, my mates 308 walked all over it, but did many trips in it at quite amazing average speeds and still got pretty good mileage as well. 77 Toyota Hi Ace Van - bought this to go into business for myself, the absolute toughest vehicle i have ever owned. Always loaded with at least 1 tonne in it, many times through flooded creeks and almost impassible mud, lots of long trips, did over 200,000ks in it and only replace tyres, exhaust and slave cylinder. 72 XA Falcon GT - the genuine article, yellow/black interior, delet bonnet blackout option, no air, no P/S etc. previous owner had installed a very lumpy cam, easily pulled to 8000RPM on the tacho. have done a genuine 150MPH in her, 6000RPM in top gear on 265/60/14's. If there was ever a car i should not have sold this is it, but my wife hated it, so bought her our first new car below... 82 XD Fairmont S-Pack V8 Manual - Monza Red, went well, but should have waited and bought an XE 351... 72 ZF Fairlane 351 - got is cheap after it wrote off a Corolla, had to replace LHS front guard and the grille... Did a full under bonnet rebuild (mild) and a full re-paint, that's it in my avatar. 84 Toyota Hi Ace Diesel Van - second new vehicle, diesel was soooooo slow, but still tough as nails. 66 Hilman Minx - $300 cheapy to get me out of a tight spot... Drove it 800k's without a clutch... 77 XC Falcon Wagon - rough as guts, work bomb. 77 XC Falcon Wagon 200ci Manual - low k's western car, did a repaint and it was a nice car. 69 Morris 1500 Sedan - no idea why i bought this, what a bomb. 75 Valiant Charger 770, 265 - in Hemi orange, had a little bit of cancer, fixed it and had fun in it. 86 XF Falcon Ute - million k's pile of poo work bomb. 67 VE Valiant VIP Safari V8 - rescued from a farm out west, did a full restore, in the original colours white over midnight turquoise metallic, came up real nice but spent way too much on it. 82 Nissan 1200 Ute - ex Bob Jane rally car, fully adjustable front end, big rubber, twin webbers, but looked a pile of poo, dents everywhere. Lots of fun doing 100KPH round roundabouts... 86 Nissan 1200 Ute - A much nicer one i put all the good bits from the previous one on. 88 Toyota Hi Ace SWB Van - another tough work van. 80 XD Fairmont Ghia 351 - got it cheap because the back end was badly rusted out, the front end was OK since it had been repaired from a previous accident (killed a buss stop?). Previous owner had done quite a bit too it, nice engine mods and 3.5 gears. Came up nice and went quite hard, but drank fuel, (DP Holley) 91 Nissan Navara Tray Back - came with the new job, completely reliable, but what a back buster. 86 Citroen BX19 GT - started a bit of a love affair with Citroen, not many appreciated these things. Amazing on rough roads, handled very well, incredable brakes, good performance, best small car cruising ever, and very good economy. I remember 1 trip to Adelaide in it on one section out near Broken Hill we averaged 140KPH and still got 38MPG, this with 4 adults in it and all our luggage - all passengers slept through this entire section... 91 VN Commodore Sedan - can't remember why??? 83 VH Commodore Sedan - traded it on the above, owner thought it was buggered but it was just a PCV vlave 88 Nissan Bluebird Sedan - crap. 82 Toyota T18 - 300,000K's and still running on the original motor. 80 Toyota Cresida Sedan - nice old thing, genuine 36,000ks 84 XE Fairmont Ghia - worn out but still kept on going. 92 NC Fairlane Ghia V8 - very nice. 2000 Mazda 323 SP20 - 3rd new car, went well, wife absolutely loved it. 2001 BA Falcon XLS Ute - came with a promotion to area manager. Venom Red, every option ticked, including the Momo gear etc. Couln't get the XR as it had to be a 1tonner 2003 BA Falcon XT Sedan - changed jobs, bought new for me. 1999 Magna Executive V6 - Changed jobs again, soon got rid of it for the below. 2004 BA MKII Falcon S - a proper car, really liked this car, winter white. 92 Ford Telstar TX5 Ghia - you would not believe the condition this car was in, The guy was a fanatic, wouldn't even take it to Ford for servicing, they had to come to him. Never parked in a car park, never driven in the rain, always garaged with a cover over it and a mattress over that. polished very month, you get the picture... 2002 VY Commodore Executive Sedan - came with the next new job, had to go down a bit job wise as my wife got very ill and I needed to be home. Crappy car, previous manager thrashed it. 2007 VE Commodore Omega - Finally got a new car with this job, one of the first VE's in town, wasn't very impressed. 2007 BF II Falcon Sedan - Another job, another car, but this was more like it, love driving these later model Falcons. 2008 VE Commodore Omega - Last new job, last new car, still not impressed... 1989 Citroen BX16v - My toy, if you ever get a chance to hammer one of these go for it. These things came 3rd outright at the 1992 Bathurst 12 hour, beat all the Brock team peugeots buy more than 3 laps. i have a video taken by Peter brock following one of them around Bathurst in the practice for the race, you can clearly hear him say ' how the f... can they handle like that' 2000 AU Falcon Tray Back Ute - my own work ute, very capable. 2003 BA Futura Sedan - high k's but went well, put a set of 18's on her, improved it no end... 1990 Mitsubishi Starwagon 4WD - i needed a tool shed, but was only renting a unit, so bought this thing cheap, ended up selling it for more than i paid for it. 1998 Fairlane Ghia V8 - nice car 2010 Car Trailer - to go behind our motorhome. 1976 Nissan UD Coach - our motorhome. 2001 Holden Barina - run around to go on the car trailer. 1983 Fairlane - farm sitting, so decided on another project, got sick and couldn't complete it though. 1996 DF LTD - did a deal with the guy who wanted my project, soon for sale. |

1. 1992(I think) Ford Laser station-wagon, 1k blue metallic, 1300cc manual, I hand sanded the whole car with wet and dry then hand buffed with Brasso. It had a Evo 3 body kit on it and I never drove it, I don't mean figuratively like as in I drove it very little, I mean I never got to drive it, that was my first car.
2. 1996 Toyota Celica, Black, 2000cc manual, crashed this car twice repaired it once. Sorry Dad. 3. 1993 Nissan Pulsar GTI, black, 1800cc manual. Fun car. 4.1989 Datsun.. Navara?, black, 2000cc petrol manual, 4x4 single cab. It was factory black but I painted it in Delfleet 2k satin black, got stolen a few weeks later and burnt up. Still being paid by the thieves to this day, 6 years. 5. 1993 ED futura station-wagon, Biscayne Blue, 4000cc auto. Absolute minter, sometimes wish I had kept it but traded it for.. 6. 1998 Nissan Skyline r34, silver, 2000cc auto. Slow piece of crap. Spent a bit on that car and it looked bloody good. 7. 2003 BA xr6, Venom Red, 4000cc manual. great car but it was too nice for me and I worried immensely about it, every little sound was imminent doom. 8. 1991 Toyota MR2, dark green, 2000cc manual. Thought I'd get the mid life crisis over with early. 9. 1999 Nissan Skyline r34, silver, 2500cc auto. Faster than the other one and better on fuel, great handling and comfortable. All the car I'll ever need. 10. 1995 EF2 Fairmont station-wagon, dark green, 4000cc auto. This is the "who cares" car, if I'm going into Auckland City I can park it without giving a crap if it's there when I return etc. I think that's all of them.
