Out Top 20 (or whatever number gets used) excludes the 4x2 and 4x4 Utes as they are not classified as Passenger vehicles per se otherwise they would have taken 5 of the Top 20 spots.

Yes, but I was referring to the article which was linked to in the first post of this thread: http://www.wheelsmag.com.au/news/ind...ary-car-sales/

In that article, they say Commodore is in 15th, when it's actually 16th. If you take utes out of the picture (only counting passenger cars), then Commodore is 11th.

Was I questioning you? I was simply pointing out how we classify them which is why the Commodore is 11th in our list.

Speaking of the Ranger (which someone was), the table below looks at the movements in Ute sales between this year and last year.

While there have been some small drops in the 4x2's (notably Hilux), most of the 4x4's are up with the exception of the Mazda BT-50 which has had a bad start to the year. Taken in the context of a 3% overall growth in the market this year, quite a few of this segment are outperforming that rate.

Cheers
Russ

Haha, Falcon and Terri are little to no stock. Its not 10 years ago. Monthly production equals its sales. But go on and push your usual rubbish.
