Bent 8 i would agree with you about metro areas but come to Melbourne and go somewhere where you are not familiar with the area and surroundings and see how long it is before you get an infringement. it's becoming increasingly hard just to get from A to B and you shpuldn't have to worry all the time. A lot of the limits are set too low to increase revenue and , God help us , in the months after a downward change they are policed off the planet.
I too only have a couple of tickets in 40 years of being licenced , but boy it's getting to be hard work and I am proud of my record like you are. The cameras are a disease and I for one would relish more marked cars if it meant getting rid of this blight. having said that if you get pinched at a fixed camera , you're a bloody idiot.
