Not at all. Your ute is a work of art mate. I was taking a picture of the tub as a whole, it was a real pleasure to photograph it.

Great day, we had a diverse range of cars and the quality was outstanding the best that I have been involved with, it covered from XP to BF (the FG was no show).
Pearly and Robs Fairlanes with Dazza and Jacks dads XA GT's along the front followed by the 2 XY's with the 65 Mustang looked brilliant.

Thank-you to everyone for displaying your rides, and thx Stef for organizing the display.

Jack your XP Ute is a killer as is your dads XA GT.
Congrats to Pearly & Karen for winning the Supercar Drivers choice award.
Luke your dads XY and the 65 Mustang you organized that won 2nd place are also fine examples of the old school cars is prestine condition.
Dazza's GT well cant believe you used fang that car around in a paddock, the resto work spot-on.
Met many new faces with that comes many new names, I wont remember everyone's name as there are to many..lol..
One I wont forget is JerseyVics (Russ) from the States I hope you had an enjoyable day.
Thank-you to everyone who took the time out to be involved in this event and big thumbs up for the crew that helped me put up and take down the shade tent...

Hope to see everyone at Heathcote Park raceway on the 27th of Feb, if your not racing come down cheer the boys, $15 for a night of Ford fun.
Like all our events its family friendly, bring the kids HPR have swings and a canteen that has very reasonable priced food and drink..

Interesting that 3 XY GTs there had very close registration plates:

KHO 271
KHO 371
KHO 571

Where they owned by the same guy or just sheer coincidence?

They were all there as a display from the "GT Shop", a GT resto place in Melbs northern suburbs. I think the number represents the month/year of build. So no, not just a coincedence.

Great display everyone! Was good to see the photo's, because I was too busy on the day to see very much of it live.

Many thanks to Russ (JerseyVics) & Stef (XRQTR) for their assistance with the judging, their help was greatly appreciated. This format of judging wouldn't be possible without the assistance of the enthusiastic members of the various car clubs.

Hopefully, I can meet a few more of you guys at the FPV day, where I'll have plenty of time on my hands.

Cheers,
Tony

I reckon that those two will get a bit of a visit from a couple of people wearing blue uniforms and another bloke driving a tow truck.

Seriously though how stupid do you have to be? Nearly every second car was letting rip as they were leaving, no wonder the Police roll up and scrutinise cars with toss pots like this wrecking it for everyone.

Totally with you there Russ, I hate that carry on and avoid it like the plague.

That kind of behavior is why I only go on small cruises like our T and P250 ones here in Perth...... regular events with a large number of people attract a few "goons", and their stupid behavior becomes infectious to many others.

Before you know it everybody pulling out is leaving strips behind and gets us a bad name.

Yep, you heard it frequently after 1300ish. Large crowd lining the road would egg a few on. I disappointed them.
