'cop' has been mentioned a few times but it comes up as coil on plug.

I guess it makes it hard when a bunch of letters can mean so many things.

Shame it isn't case sensitive.

Is there an option to perhaps only explain what words / letters mean when they are between single 'speech' marks perhaps??

So, if the same thing is mentioned several times in a post, perhaps only the first one in the speech marks is explained?

I'm the only one who is finding this annoying then?

Thought the forum had been hacked at first. Wouldn't a sticky glossary work better? Then the things like OP and FWIW can be added for off-topic areas where they're most common.

Don't searched terms show up in threads in red as well?

We've had a glossary of common acronyms in the Tech Portal for quite some time but it actually makes more sense for them to be in-line definitions where those interested in understanding the term can check and everyone else can just ignore them.

Searched terms come up in red but not underlined.

I've removed cop from the list - we'll have to watch out for acronyms and descriptive terms that can be used in another context as this is the 2nd example along with HIM.

Cheers
Russ
