Dear Valued Customer, Please note that the price on the GV Chest & Trolley combo in our email newsletter sent on 23 January has an incorrect price of $19.99. The correct price is $62 save 60%. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Kind Regards, The Team at Repco

Besides, with 7500km oil changes, there's enough for four years based on current driving patterns. |

And it also sends new customers to the store, along with the regulars that will probably walk out with other merchandise. If its the oil you use then buy as much as u can carry, or push.

Means you virtually never have to worry about buying oil again. I try to do that. Buy in bulk - Never have to think about it. Just grab the next bottle on the shelf.....

Does oil sitting in bottles degrade at all over time, or does it have quite a long shelf-life?

Engineer was telling me years ago that the marketing departments publicise a 5-7 year shelf life, but in reality they last more than 10 years in storage.

Well, one and a bit bottles gone today.
Did the change at 7,000k's since last one and the oil was pretty well gone. Might step it up to 5,000k intervals |

Why can't petrol be discounted like this?
Petrol is a by product of oil isn't it? |

Cool beans. I'll be stocking up on that! Supercheap can price match it if repco have no stock.
It almost seems wrong - 34, save 22 means normal price is $56, yet it retails for $70 at supercheap Link on SCA site |

I use the penrite racing ten 10-40 in my fg2 turbo since its first oil change, I pay about 165 for a 20L drum, anyone else use it and what is the general opinion on it.

I just got Edge 10-60w from Repco at 20% savings with my wifes RAA card here in S.A.
Paid roughly $60 compared to listed $80/5lt. Imo cars that are used hard & are treated correctly when cold until at normal operating temps require a heavier weight oil but each to there own. 5-30w for a turbo under any duress seems light. |

The margin on oil thru retailers isn't huge. Repco are selling these under cost in the hope that customers purchase other items at the same time. And I suppose it gets there name up in lights at the same time.

Unless the motor is built accordingly the 5/30 and 5/40 aren't designed for our Falcon motors by any stretch.
It may work well for a period of time though.

Just letting everyone know - these high quality CHEAP oils are manufactured in Malaysia.
Not really a problem, but don't cry when another factory closes in Australia.
