My cars' petrol twin! Looking good, best colour in the range I reckon. Not that I'm biased or anything =P

Yeah when they get to $35k or so then thats where I would be interedted. $55k now is a stretch even though its a brilliant machine.

You might be past this phase in your life, but how would the new Focus go with three baby seats in the back?

Good question as we discussed this as its a important issue for us.
No problem though, there are previsions for 3 car seats, we have 6 grand kids and all but one still need to sit in car seats.
We used my dads 2009 Focus Sedan for a few weeks it only had 1 prevision for hooking up the car seat.
My wifes former car Fiesta 2007 had 3 previsions for the child seats, most times we had 2, we thought it was odd that 2009 Focus only had 1.

$59k plus dealer charges, which in some cases took them to over $70k

This is the Focus ST. Basically, it's the new designation for what used to be called an XR5 - the turbo-charged hot hatch version of the Focus model.

Great , thanks for that, shame there is no Auto option, that would
be a fun thing to own, a bit like a mini XR6T
