I will assume that the FG2 front end will look similar to the new Territory though. Hopefully not too far off the mark.

That lousy photoshop is from 2008 and has the USDM Ford Fusion grille superimposed on it. Get over it.

I don't like that huge mouth... and beady little eyes. It looks like a cat launching for a mouse. I actually don't like the shape of the headlights at all.

But who knows? It may look good on Falcon.

They're really not that bad in the flesh. I love the new front end, it's very imposing and stands out. They've put up a new billboard on the Westgate so clearly Ford believe in the new Terri. As for the rest of it..even with the new rear end it's impossible to differentiate from the last model.

Well they aren't selling it to me clearly. I don't like or need an SUV. If I did.... well Territory is the best you can buy.

I'm also not sure about the bonnet creases. Very American in it's styling. Much like the Taurus bonnet.

I always like to see a car in the flesh before I make a judgement on its looks. I absolutly hated the hockey stick stripes on the GT until I say it but now I wouldn't have one without. Thats not to everyones taste I know but to each there own.

I think its awesome that the head of ford got a personal G6E Turbo foe himself in the states when they were first released, can't endorse a car better than that

Isn't it a little bit naive of ford to want more sales after killing of models that made up the sales figures? if you kill a car that was selling a certain amount it doesn't take Einstein to figure out the majority of those sales are lost to you

To be honest I don't know. I don't think the decision has been made. All I can say is that XR8 has been designed but is/was on hold.

GS is essentially an XR8 anyway (with a supercharger).

Looks like an XR8 inside/out (apart from FPV badges).

The shape of the headlights will not change from FG to FG2. The "huge mouth" is not as big as Territory but it is bigger than FG.

Could have guessed that headilghts would be the same... Something tells me the FPV body kit will stay as it is now.

So we could see something like the FPV front bumper come onto FGII but with chrome bars running around and across the opening? Like Territory.

So glad Falcon ain't getting those headlights.
