Strange Personalised Number Plates

They wouldn't be original issue on that car as that plate series dates back to the 60's.

i saw a Lightning Strike BA XR6 with the number plate "SMUT" in Mt Druitt once. i thought it was funny as :

theres a capri or probe with the plates LOWAZ and its sitting standard height, they were once on a low car but WTF


off the strange plates track for a minute.....theres a green XD with the plates BOOGA

in terms of the engine names, there was Barra 182, but there was also Barra 220 (for the SOHC V8)
but before the BA was released, the whole model was code named Barra.

What do you mean was? There is the Barra 190 (I6), Barra 245T (I6 Turbo), and the Barra 230 (V8)

Even worse when you see Hyundai across the windscreen of Excels, or Mitsubishi on a Magna. Since when is owning one of those brands something to advertise. I'd be ashamed to drive either.

In Melbourne a couple of years ago I saw a black XR8 with the number plate RIP HSV.
There's a camel jockey who drives a 5 series BMW with the number plate COMPO in sydney, he's mates with the guy in the Hilux with the plate LEB69U. I've seen them both at the cosgrove road carwash.
Also seen the following number plates at the airport: JET747, FLY767, BOEING, AVI8OR, B747, A330 (****er).

couldnt say myself but all i know is that there would be alot of people out there wanting them, they aint really special either they look like standard white and green plates but with only GT on them.
