That is red hot mate! I missed out on a 105 1750 yeeeears ago... Main body was solid, needed interior, bootlid and doors. $1.5k Got sold as I drove up with the cash after going to the bank. That hurts, cos I bleed old Alfa's. (Even have the badge tattooed on my back) Quote:

Nothing too special but ive had my eye on a xe s pack sitting under a tree for about 2 years and yeasterday i managed to score it for $100. Its a 4 speed manual 250 and apparently the diff is from an xr6. The body is straght with minimal rust and the S pack interior is great. Only thing wrong with it is the radiator.

Make the S pack awesome - no value in the GL mate!
I believe Dave @ Grafix Unlimited can help you out with S Pack Stripes if you need new ones |

Found these today
The XA ute isn't too bad. Its pretty straight and the bloke i was talking to said it ran until they removed the starter motor. http://i1055.photobucket.com/albums/...a/IMG_1034.jpg http://i1055.photobucket.com/albums/...a/IMG_1032.jpg http://i1055.photobucket.com/albums/...a/IMG_1031.jpg I'm Quite keen on the XR sedan. Two doors are missing and the floor has seen better days. Couldn't see what the sills were like but the rear quarters and roof are pretty good http://i1055.photobucket.com/albums/...a/IMG_1037.jpg http://i1055.photobucket.com/albums/...a/IMG_1040.jpg So what one if any |

That XB looks like it will do up well. It certainly brings back memories. I had an XB (though not a coupe) as my first car. That Cleveland brought back so many good memories. I hope someone can persuade the owner to sell it and it gets done up.

I went to a sale on a property not far from me the other week and found this lurking in a shed along with about half a dozen BMW R100s from the 80s' in various states of dis-repair.
Seems the husband had died a couple of years prior and the wife was selling up and I was told he had driven it into the shed less than 4 years ago from where ever it had been sitting before that. The asking price was $4000 Bushbasher .

Yup, everything was for sale Davway, she was clearing out and selling the property. I didn't bother to ask about the bikes but I counted at least 5. There was also 4 or 5 old 70s' mercs parked up in the next paddock too but I didn't take too much notice of them. This was all 3 or 4 weeks ago but if you're really interested I'll see if I can track some info down. I know the woman had moved to Kangaroo Island and came back to clear the place out for sale. I'll have to track down the real estate agent and go from there if you're serious. You do realise this is on the Eyre Peninsula in SA though right? It's a bit of a hike to come get anything if you're over east....... or west........or north.......... hell we're along way from everyone, haha

Its one thing to find these cars, its another to get the owners to part with them!Theres a nice single spinner ute at Torrington, but they wont sell it.
I know where, there is a paddock full of old cars, rusting,a fire went threw, some kid walked around with a .22 and shot the glass out of a lot of them. The owner wont part with any.Its a shame to think, that the crusher went around the bush in the old days and a lot of these old cars went to scrap metal! Don't know if this technically qualifies as a barn find but it turned up in a front yard in Pt Lincoln over the weekend. Sorry for the quality of the pics but they were taken by the missus on her $30 phone, I've tried to clean them up as best I could but they're not great, again sorry.
The asking price is $3000 ono. That's as much as I know about it but hey, if anyone's interested, the number is on the windscreen, lol. Bushbasher
