Hey, I get it, some women have to leave a relationship.

And some of them need to find a bloke thats not totally useless....

Couple of years back pulled up to check on a BA with its bonnet up, coolant everywhere, turns out the fan had exploded and took the radiator with it.

I explained to her what parts she needed to order and gave her my number just in case she got stuck.

Week later she calls me and asks if I can help her with the repairs, i get there, she's already nutted out how to remove everything and get the radiator back in, but was having problems getting the trans cooler flare fittings started.

During the conversation while I got it all buttoned back up, I discovered that her partner/sperm donor was upstairs playing games on his computer.

So let me get this straight..... your "man", is upstairs, playing ****** computer games on his ****** computer, leaving his woman and mother of his ****** kids to do mechanical work on the car SHE uses to get to work and haul HIS kids around?????

She seemed rather ashamed when I put it to her like that.

Ultimately, the three above were the straws that broke the camel's back for me. For the record, I never once asked for more money, I didn't even want the raise I got in the final two years of my 20-year tenure.

This one, well it was a pattern with one or two, completely oblivious to it as well..............................

One place I was at, he regional manager managed the EPIC screw up of emailing all the store managers the spreadsheet that showed EVERYONES individual hourly rate.....

Funnily, thats how I found out, that after I'd been promised when I jumped ship to work for them that I'd be the second highest paid person in the building, that someone who'd been hired on AFTER me, was on better money, and had been given a raise since being hired, whereas I, at the 4 year mark hadnt seen a cent of a pay raise.

When I raised this as an issue with the heirarchy, I was told that my pay would go up once the award rate caught up with what I was getting paid.

The heirarchy didnt see the issue with that, even after I questioned how what they'd told me effectively meant that my value to the company was declining day by day.

I gave notice very soon after.
