Does anyone have any pictures of an au2 xr8 with a high series bonnet. or has any opinions of what it would look like.

The Boss Bonnet mate. You'd also save on a bit of weight.

I don't think Adam can make the carbonfibre bonnets at the moment ... as carbonfibre supplies have been limited due to stock being bought out.

Can still do glass ones though, only a kilo or two's difference.

We have just made a carbon BA bonnet which used the last of our carbon stock, were expecting another delivery next month.

Wing off an A340, what does it matter they got outsold by the 777 anyway.

Scarebus you mean?

This is how it all happened:

Airbus perform the infamous wing snap test on the A380 and find it snaps dead between the two engines before it gets to the 150% stress test point.

Meanwhile, whilst the Airbus dudes are all sitting around scratching their heads in rectifying this problem young Mr Keen sneaks off into the parts bin and takes away some sizeable portions of carbon fibre better utilised for bonnets.

There ya go - isn't that right Adam? :

How much?

The only thing i dislike about the AU is that crease right down the middle of the bonnet.

You can order the fibreglass boss bonnet for the AU without the crease.

The crease is functional. It sits in the cack of your bum when your sitting on the bonnet talking to your mates. Stops you from sliding side ways. It's stability control. Especially after a dozen beers. :
