Default Bob Jane Xenon Z1 Tyres!

Has anyone got these on their AU? Anyone know anyone with them on their AU?

I got a brochure in the paper today, it said they were made by a reputable company.

A while ago I found out that Bob Jane All Rounders and Monza 200's were the same tyre so I figured that these new Xenon Z1 jobbies were probably also made by Dunlop in their Somerton plant in Melbourne.

Anyone know anything about this?

I was thinking about SP3000's or Maxxias next time around for the SR, but these new ones may be an option.

I might do some internet research!

GK

Did some, couldn't find anything that wasn't from Bob Jane!

Thumbs up Tyres

undefined
As with most purchases, price is a good indication of quality, IMO tyres are no exception.
My original Monsa's were only fair at best. I would recommend the SP 3000's, made in France ( I think ) !!!

I'm not suggesting that the monzas and xenons are the same tyre, rather that they might be made in the same plant. I thought the 3000's were made here! France you say!

Made in Francios! probably good for squashing snails at least!

I actually have French made Dunlop D208 RR (Race Replica) tyres on the VFR800. Awesome tyre indeed!

I don't try to squash snails with them though!

You might want to have a read of the latest (May) issue of 'Wheels', pretty big tyre test in there.

ok heres the good goss.
Bob jane don't make any tyres they just buy wholesale and sell the the general public full retail.
Tyres like the all rounder aren't a dunlop monza there made in the plant in vic. by South Pacific Tyres who own beaurepaires, goodyear, toms tyres in NT, Mcleods tyres in SA, Pat and Roy's tyres, they also own a lot (a bit lot) of ohter little "indepentant" rural type tyres stores acrros the country. They Make tyres for alot of tyre companies and export too. The sava tyre was orginal made in salvania by a plant owned by goodyear and they are now made here and in NZ by SPT. Bang for buck they aren't a bad tyre as they have silica in them too now. Also the SP3000A are made here locally too.
If ya gona spend ya hard earned cash buy local
