Annoying my employers is a fantastic one of mine.
Keeping a bug free front bar on the xr6, more of a chore but i love a challenge.
Pyrotechnics.
Sport shooting.

most of my after market part come from the USA which i purchase online,but kits i usually get from local hobby shops, even Big W carry plastic models. There also great shop in grafton that does mail order & he get a lot of kits that nobody else in OZ carries ,http://www.scaleautomobilia.com.au/

So how do you actually build them if that makes sense. Like you buy them and assemble them. Whats involved in assembling them? How do you put the aftermarket parts on. Etc etc

yep kits come as unassembled plastic parts , first off most of my kits have a fair few mods be it ,lowering ,different motors ,wheels , etc .Most of my paint jobs are with an airbrush and my homemade spray booth ,i also make some custom parts on my mini metal lathe (yes i got it just for building models& no im not crazy just very passionate about my hobby) and any aftermarket parts are added eg,seat belts ,metal grills & badges ,disc brakes ,big wheels, flocking (as in scale carpet),stereos ,almost everything is catered for if you want it, gees some guys even make the windows wind up and down!!!! check out you local hobby shop for glues and paint etc ............and start build'n!!!

I love playing sport and I currently play Tennis every week. Have been playing comp for 9 years now with the same team and love it.

I collect video game consoles and the associated accessories games.

Also play around with photography, mostly scenic and slow/fast shutter stuff.

Yes I can highly recommend Model Railways, I still have a few about the place not as much HO as used to mainly N guage now.

No engine(allthough you can use one) - just run off a hill and fly away. Well thats the plan anyway.

Thats pretty sweet!

I was watching a guy fly an r/c plane once, and the paraglider (he had an engine on his back though) buzzed by kinda low, so the guy with the plane buzzed HIM pretty close. Next thing I heard was the paragliders engine @ full throttle...he wanted out of there QUICK!

im so envious of you guys with solid hobbies. back when i was a little kid i used to collection currency from all over. still have boxes and boxes of coins from all over the globe. i could call computers my hobby but i dont think it counts since its my job as well. theres stuff i want to get into but i just cant afford to do anything anymore since i moved out.

In to the drumming & percussion. Currently have a 5 piece drum kit with cymbals, and also a west african djembe (shell from the ivory coast!!!) and a shakere. Muck around in a make-shift band and a ensemble

Also try to get out on the dirt bike as much as possible. No other vehicle will EVER be able to match what can be done on a dirt bike..... the adrenalin, the remote scenery, the challenge. Landed my first no hander lander on the table top in the backyard the other day to, was rather pumped up after that!!!

I wish I had time for a hobby ... we have horses at home ... but that's Bec's hobby that I have started to get into in the last couple of years.

I used to draw a fair bit ... mainly landscapes and cars/houses/boats.
Wouldn't mind getting back into it again though ... if i get the time to do it.
Spent a week drawing a friend's car for him and making up a collage of different drawn parts. I was bored and inbetween jobs at the time ... turned out muh better than i thought.

I wish I had a picture of it ... he was pretty damn happy with it.

I also travel to help look after a lady friends reptiles, her partner was a good friend of mine he was murdered nearly 2 years ago. And she is not confident in handling her animals, starting to change she is...not much choice when i say to her.." here hold this for a tick" and then chuck an 8 foot python into her arms...lol.
Thanks for the reminder i have to go over there today, she's out of rats and the big fella is hungry. I breed my own snake & reptile food, cuts a lot of costs and makes a few $$$ on the side.

Offshore game fishing does it for me. My two passions in life are catching big fish, my boat and my car.

Sometimes I wish it was one or the other.... so I could focus my expendible dollars on one only and go fully sick mate with mods.

But there's always a new bit of fishing gear. Or new outboard, and not just a(nother) car related waste of money.
