Unhappy Mondeo problems ?? summer blues

Hi Guys i am new on this forum and have a problem with 95 mondeo 2 litre that runs great..... but as soon as we get a hot(32-35) day the car wont drive, it will stop after 5 meters then wont start until the next day!!!! any advice would be greatly appreciated .. it is my mates car and he says he has replaced thermostat.

Is it an auto???

When it stops does it just free rev or does it stall...

What does the temprature guage look like after it stalls

temp gauge looks normal.. i have asked same question in the PUB and have been told to clean injectors and change fuel filter i will try this and see what happens

Have you got spark when it stalls?

Also see if the ECU gives off any error codes. A Ford Dealer could do this.
