Yeh this is my workute, i dont want to play around with the *** end.
I'll just run the slicks when i goto the track.

the softer sidewall of the slick should help a little to let you get more of a contact patch, that's the only other real benefit i'd see. apart from that a slick and a radial would be as grippy as each other.

i just know that with the radials i blow the tyres out when i get off the brakes, so i just went for a 10.5 slick, and hooked up better at Heathcote,(1.58) compared to 1.78 will try at Calder next time and see the difference.

It was fine when i had 330rwkw, another 70 rwkw and it wont get out of the hole anymore.

should do better at Calder as the track is prepped.
