Default Central Locking Not Working on AU1

Have just refitted the dash back into the XR and now fitting the fairmont leather interior. Hooked the battery back up and everything seems to be right except fpr the central locking.
You press the remote and the lights flash twice and then the horn goes off like if a door is not closed. The indicator on the dash for the doors is working and goes off when all door are closed. Also if you try to lock the car manually, only the driver's door locks and no actuators work on the other doors.
It all worked fine before I pulled everything apart.
Any input woud be great!!

Default Re: Central Locking Not Working on AU1

Well finally found the problem with the central locking. After getting frustrated trying to solve this problem, had another go this afternoon. Found out that when you tried to lock the car the BEM clicked on/off 3 times. Also found that the boot release worked fine. Also today when you tried to lock the car, it would only flash once where the other day it flashed twice and the horn went off.
Checked all the wire connections and found that I had not pulled the plactic lever clip over the main wiring connection in the Driver's side footwell. Did this and now everything works as it should. The connection must have not been pressed into each other all the way.
Shows that the simplest thing can annoy the hell out of you!!!
