Default Cortina brakes and engine q's

Planning to upgrade brakes on the TE so I have a few questions
Has anyone changed brakes to falcon setup?
What size rim can you fit under there? It's on superlows atm. Would love to have it rolling on 17's
What else have people done to improve braking?

Also I'm not sure what to do engine wise now, originally wanted to go injected for a bit more reliability but would like to improve performance quite a bit to.
Opinions???

Thanks,
Jay

Yeh cheers, looks like that hopper stopper kit is the way to go. Although there wasn't to much info on the backs, spose will figure that out when I actually get round to it lol

Thinking rather efi an turboing the 250 or just put an 8 in it?

If the 8 is an option both cash wise and rego wise then its hard to beat, plenty of mounting and chassis strengthening kits around etc. 302 windsor fits easily and people have done 351 clevos etc as well.

Hoppers kit has been used to good effect by heaps of people, theres also kits that go cheap on ebay every now and then. Rears can be improved with braided line instead of the rubber one near the diff or you can adapt discs, theres a guy somewhere making plates to fit sklyine discs with old audi calipers which are reported to be an easy fit and work well. Alot of people uprgrade the master to a xb etc style 1" bore one with the bigger brake kits.
