Red face 588kw; 1420nm. No, it's not a truck

Don't like your staid and stuffy office environment? Perhaps you need one of these...

Described as the "fastest office on wheels", this is the Brabus 800 "iBusiness 2.0", created by the German tuner renowned for its ludicrously OTT offerings.

The Mercedes S-Class-based limo's makeover starts with a twin-turbo V12 bruiser that puts out 588kW and 1420Nm; sounds ludicrous, but numbers such as these are hardly an aberration for a Brabus product.

For the record, the company quotes a 0-100km/h split of 3.9sec and top whack that's electronically limited to 350km/h. It begs the question how fast it would go without the limiter...

However, the car's real piece de resistance is its Apple iPad-based multimedia system that enables it to double as a mobile office. The Brabus boffins have also developed an application that integrates the iPad2 into the on-board electronics system and enables the former to control all functions of the S-Class COMAND system (radio, satnav, telephone, etc) from the rear seats.

And you can even nail down a few shady arms deals with your contact in Moscow as the integrated cameras of the new iPad generation are said to be suited for video conferencing.

Would-be buyers of the Brabus iBusiness 2.0 can specify the fitment of one or two iPad 2 tablets into the rear compartment, and each of these is integrated within the backrest of the front seat thanks to a custom-developed console.

The electrically deployed and infinitely adjustable tabletop is layered in the same leather as the rest of the cabin and nestled within a high-gloss aluminium frame. The table features custom-tailored recesses for holding the iPad and the corresponding Bluetooth keyboard either vertically or horizontally.

The iPad 2 is connected via a WiFi network to a Mini Mac, which serves as the central computer and is housed in the boot under the rear shelf in an electrically deployed drawer.

Other bells and whistles include a 64GB Apple iPod touch that can store more than 14,000 songs, power-operated curtains, bespoke leather upholstery and individually adjustable power rear seats.

There's also a "Yachting wood-trim package" that endows it with "a maritime feel that is reminiscent of classic Italian sport boats".

Mechanical/cosmetic tweaks include Brabus Monoblock alloys (with diameters ranging from 19 to 21 inches), stiffened suspension, beefed-up brakes and a subtle aero package that whispers rather than shouts the car's monstrous capabilities.

Brabus can either supply the car as is, or convert your existing S-Class (anything from an S350 to an S65 will do) to the same spec.

Goddamn what a beast.
