Mcguiars Wet Look is what I use, and it does a mint job.
I also tried out Turtle Wax quick detailer last week after I washed it, and it gave a really nice finish for a quick 10min job! Dont know anything about Rain X so cant comment on that!

Never heard of Rain X products for the paint. I use it on the windscreen though.

I wax my screen when I polish the car.
Works as well as rain X if not better. |

The company also makes washes/waxes etc but they'll just be rebranded stuff, as their main brand is in the Rain-X/Fog-X products. If you are looking for a fog/rain solution then they've been around forever and work well. If you're looking for a car wax, you're going to get a few answers. Some people will insist on using $300 tubs of imported exotic wax and others are going to say that any Mothers/Meguiars wax from Auto1/Autobarn/Supercheap will be fine. Just in case there is any confusion, you clean the paint (wash), then polish the paint (shine) and then wax the paint (protect). Wax forms a glossy layer of protection that prevents damage to the paint. There is no point waxing a car unless you clean and polish it first. |

Yeah I use Rain X on the windscreen.
Works a treat when you hit the 80klm/h mark! Water just beads-up and rolls away . . . no wipers required. DON'T ASK WHAT POLISH WE USE . . . you'll get 235,000 answers!!! (LOL) Fredo

Use Rain-X all the time and it came in very handy on my return from S.F.S. in Victoria last February. Pouring down on most of the drive and only used intermittent wipers @ 110kp/h.

The Qantas B737 fleet have a 200 flight hour repeat task to apply Rain-X to the Capt's & F/O's windscreens.
