Default pedal box for mk2 cortina

on ebay i was looking at the mk2 escort pedal boxes and i was wondering whether they are compatible with the mk2 cortina? im looking to convert my auto to manual, they have hydraulic ones. is it as simple as bolting it in and making new lines?

I have not had a Mk2 Cortina but I believe that there was not alot of difference's between a MK2 cortina and the escorts. I have converted a few escorts from auto to manual in both MK1 and MK2 and the swap was easy with the cable version, only thing I found was to check the length of the clutch cable as there was limited adjustment if it was too long or too short.

to convert peddles over

is just a matter of putting in a longer pivot pin and so that you can hang the clutch of it

but would not be hard to find a complete setup

you could try HERE

as he has many MK2 cortina parts

.
