Default Thinking of selling...

Hi guys just after some opinions.

I’m considering selling my Focus and wondering if my expectations are too high.

It’s a black 2006 CL Hatch manual with smooth pack and 18K on the clock.
The car doesn’t get used much as I work away and it’s too big for the wife (don’t get me started!).

Is $16-17K reasonable or am I dreaming?
Keep in mind I am in Perth, the land of exuberant second hand car prices

Sorry to hear about you getting rid of it.
That price range seems pretty well spot on. I'd actually be aiming for between 17 and 17,500, just basing it on cars of similar age and condition. And as you say, in Perth you could maybe get away with going even higher. If you don't have to be rid of it ASAP, you could list it for 17,500, and if nobody bites, just lower the price a bit.

Thanks for that, I would be in no hurry so I might try at 17.5K for a while.

Sounds like you are hooked on modifying yours!
