I would by it but I don't know if the car would have astigma attached to it where the judges at events would basically look the other way because of how it was built, with bad money! Maybe someone can buy it re-do it again and call it Bad Money!

So he didn't steal someone pride and joy. He was helping people make false insurance claims, which meant that we all have to pay higher premiums.

I read into it a bit more, and yeah found out crap read that thread praising his efforts, and changed my mind rapidly, i think he deserves to stay in prison and never touch a car ever again, if he does i hope it gets torched.....

Anyone who doesn't credit the artists who built the masterpiece in the first place are not to be respected in my opinion anyway.

I've also had a car stolen and stripped of all its genuine (expensive and impossible to replace) parts. I have zero sympathy for this persons plight.

I wonder how many of our cars this bloke had his eyes on at car shows? We need to have faith in the laws of this country to deal with people like this in the proper manner, and clearly this has been done. I, like many others, stared at his XP in total awe at the Holden & Ford nationals and admired it for the beautiful piece of machine that it is, thanks to Troy and Clayton Hillier. We all tend to open up at car shows and share information about our cars and selves that we wouldn’t usually share with people and hopefully this will not change. As for this gentleman, the next two years will give him some time to think about the actions that landed him there.

Exactley. His crime is stealing. He didn't kill, rape or molester anyone. He's had his day in court, now he's serving his punishment. I think its time to move on.
