Something so obviously dodgy, I don't know if I would pity someone stupid enough to fall for it.

My mum had a similar experience. There were windows for sale that worked out to $6 eachwhen they were worth like a grand each. The guy put them at buy it now instead of the starting bid figure and jumbled up the price of each instead of a total. She thought she would bid on them and see what happens, she arranged to pick them up and he still hadn't realised so she emailed him saying she will pick them up and pay the $6 each. Thats when he realised he had made a big boo boo!!

Definitely a scam, out of nigeria/phillipines etc. They ask you to email yor name and address to them and to send a small deposit to a third party and get your account details. They then use your details for the basis of identity fraud.

Amazing how many people actually get stung. If its too good to be true, it is.

Ebay is getting worse and worse for shonks, i spend quite a bit of time on ebay buying and selling etc as ya do, lol and some of the things people get up to go right from funny to downright cruel, unfortunately there seems no way to weed out the mongrels from the honest people, i have seen people get banned then the next week they are on again under a new name selling the same thing they ripped the last person with.....
Cheers

Agree with ya there. One of my friends bought tickets to a concert on Ebay. Cost a couple of hundred bucks coz she HAD to go to it. Once they paid they never got the tickets!! It was her mums account, they tried to look into it further but the dam frauds were too good and they never got their money back and never saw those tickets...

yes it is the same pics and article from the one that sold last week, i often watch cars like this just to see what they go for. (a9x torana for 100 grand last week) there are a lot of shonks, best to always ask questions first, helps sort them out a little. get them to send more pictures to your email.

I usually fire off an email to the original seller and let them take it up with ebay.

When I was looking for my Turbo there were 2 on Ebay that I was sure I have seen the week before and sure enough they were shonky sellers who stole word for word the other persons listing and got banned straight away.
