Default What is it with Camry Drivers?

Tonight on the way home I saw:

A white Camry with Ford Falcon "GTP" badges on, the rear wing (each side) and on the boot lid (right hand corner).....I dont know what I wanted more, a camera to show people this horror or a baseball bat to take to the camry.....

Thats because they actually made a camry gtp, It came out well before the ford gtp. It was just a camry with 17s and a body kit from memory.

That's easy, you'd want both, a camera to show people the horror you witnessed, THEN the bat to destroy the Camry and prevent other people with taste from being scarred for life by seeing it.

well there you go, I never knew that...it was uncanny how much the badges on the camry looked exactly like the ones on the Falcon...

Yep, have seen them around. Was to celebrate something in the GTP (Production Car) Championship IIRC.

saw a brand spanking new BMW 7 series yesterday parked in redfern. Lucky I know what they look like as this one had been debadged.

However the thoughtful deliquents had replaced all the badges with badges off a new Astra.

So instead of "BMW" it read "ASTRA" everywhere!

It's actually a Limousine company (or large corporation) called Astra as far as I know ... I have seen Holden Caprices and also LTDs with the Astra badges on them ... all of them black as well.

It has been done deliberately by the company.

After thinking about this ... I think it's the top execs from the Astra pharmaceutical company that have these vehicles.
