Default Help for a newby

I've just bought a 1980 2L Escort sedan in full nanna kit, nothing done to anything, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me the point and spark gaps? I'm having a little trouble locating the manual, so I have no reliable tech info handy.
And if anyone knows of any good places in Sydney for spares, a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

heya mate, only new myself. and still looking for a car. If you are free on sunday the 17th of this month there is a huge swap meet at richmond. might be some goodies there.Plus there are always heaps of people with workshop manuals. I picked up one for my r31 for $10 at trhe last swapmeet. if its panels and interior bits, go to pick and payless at blacktown.some of the cars there can be a bit tatty but sometimes if you get a car that has just been towed in it will have some good parts on it.Other than that I can't see it being too much hassle to get engine gaskets etc at repco or super cheap.

across the road from the raaf base they have the showgrounds. its in there. well worth a look cos even they they dont have the bits you need, you can sometimes find bargain tools, and not just dodgy ones either. i could say see ya there but its freakin huge.
